We always stay here when we come to Bishop our little safe place. We like the themes of this little place and feels like home.

My son keeps getting hurt on the metal ends of the beds. Maybe put something around them so when you accidentally kick them your not hurt to much. Like those noodle swimmers , cut them and secure them around where you get hurt. He's also semi blind so he stumbles alot , this time he was hurt pretty bad. Its not a big deal but we lost our Shatts bread, because we didn't know about the black ants. So we just went and bought more lol. Ty

Stephanie, the manager, was exceptional in working with. I had to call to verify our booking, parking, and Wi-Fi in three separate calls, and in every call, she was very helpful. She made our stay worth it and I would return here again.

The situation is a little different. You check in at a little motel around the corner, but our room was about a mile away. It was a converted apartment building that was hotel rooms, but you wouldn´t know it from the outside. It wasn´t bad, it just was different.

Great family owned old school motel. Christina runs the office and was warm and welcoming. Our room was a mini apartment with a kitchen very clean and well stocked with towels and basic kitchen supplies, clean fridge and stove. The bathroom looked to be remodeled and the shower and sink had good water pressure with plenty of towels/soap. The TV worked well and the king bed was comfortable. Some noise from the road but nothing that bothered us. A porch swing was outside the room and was comfy to sit in and feel the brezee. The middle of the property has a lovely grass "park" with seating. This was perfect to walk our dog. We loved the colorful paint on the front doors, the fun and funky vibe. We liked being able to get fresh air in our room as well as having functional A/C. Ofcourse the trees on the property added to the enjoyment.

Not much to dislike. The kitchen window could use a screen and there is some noise from the road but nothing that disturbed us.

Fantastic stay! We were 3 PCT looking for a place to stay for the night and were very pleased to get a family room with 3 beds! The place was great! The staff there too! Jason was very helpful and had all the informations we needed about the place and the town. Even more fantastic is when my friend lost his passeport there and we called: Jason was super responsive and went out of his way to find it! It was so nice to stay at a place where we felt welcome and where the costumer care was amazing even after we left! We cannot thank Jason enough for his help!

I liked the location off the main 395 only about a 1/2 mile away. Our room was clean, beds were a little small but Im a bigger guy, and the room was clean and smelled as if it had been maintained regularly. Staff was awesome and very knowledgable . They actually were going to check me in before I arrived because they were going to be closed but my schedule changed and arrived during business hours. (I was suppose to arrive after midnight)

Excellent value for the price. Quiet, clean, comfortable and equipped w everything we needed. Family suite (3 beds in two rooms) was a perfect fit for our family. AC and shower worked well, we had plenty of cooking ability w small fridge and toaster oven, etc. and we enjoyed the center courtyard for gathering before/after outings w friends. Liked location in a quiet part of town. This is a retro kind of place - beds are a bit smaller and furnishings not cookie cutter modern - felt like a motel on route 66, back in the day... :) It was quite comfortable and an opportunity to support a unique motel, as opposed to another generic chain.

Wished the coffee for the coffee maker was darker/stronger.

The room was charming. In most aspects didn't feel like a typical motel room. Real linens, decorative pillow, ceramic coffee cups ... felt like we were in someone's home.

An extra chair would've been nice. The office area didn't give the best impression; though, 'Tiffany' was great. The big plastic shield dividing her from us felt a bit like we were in an unsafe area. We weren't - just the impression. The tax on the room was exorbitant. Not the motels fault. Made a reasonably priced room more expensive than we wanted to pay.

It was so homey. 😊 There is a big shaded grass area that people were playing yard games on. There is also an area to clean fish. It seemed to be a popular spot for fishermen. There are porch swings outside many of the rooms. And the manager and staff were so friendly . Smiling faces all around 😃

Someone has put considerable effort, money and materials to upgrade this older motel, with great success. The room was small, but convenient with nice touches like an all tile shower with a built in seat. Even has a shelf for the frig, which I didn't know I was going to have in the room. Mattress was too soft for me after my back surgery, but many like a softer mattress. I would definitely stay here again! Nice find.

Mattress was too soft for me.
