Excellant service from the property manager. He was so helpful and kind. The property was very clean. No locals/transients there. I'll ONLY stay there in Buttonwillow. I stay there 4 times a year. I was treated wonderfully.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were in close proximity to the interstate and highway.

We booked this hotel specifically because the listing said it had laundry services. Turns out, the laundry room is under repair and unusable. Also, I have never stayed in a room as noisy as this. The highway is a main trucking route for a local tomato farm. Every minute or two, there was an articulated open top semi filled to the brim with tomatoes passing by, stopping at the stop sign right in front of hotel, and accelerating to make their way onto the interstate. The single pain glass and wide gaped door were no match for the obnoxious sounds coming from outside. I did not sleep all night. I would not stay here again, even if it were free. Also, the floor was filthy. Bring slippers or sandals for walk around room.

The bed was very comfortable.

I can't complain a lot because you definitely get what you pay for... we were tired and needed sleep, so nothing else really mattered. But it's really run down, and it needs to be cleaned much better. Towels were dirty and there were flies in the room. No breakfast, not even a to go bag.

This was the second time we stayed here. We came back in April and had a very poor time but we decided to give them a second chance and I regret it. Certain things are to be expected for the price, basic beds and bedding. Traffic noises, no breakfast being served due to Covid. However there are basics that are expected that are not being met at this location. The AC does not work at all! It’s way too hot. When we tried to make it work we discovered the vents were caked in dust. My husband took a brush to it and knocked off a large amount but it still didn’t work (one doesn’t expect to pay to do maintenance when they rent a hotel room). They put fans in the room but they were obviously attempting to save money with those because they were not very powerful and the wind doesn’t reach the beds unless moved very very close. We tried to open the windows but there were no screens. During our stay in April the shower knob was loose and made it next to impossible to get the water temperature correct we figured it was just that room but we had a different room this time with a knob that was righted correctly and it was still very very difficult to find the correct temperature. I’m aware that the world is understaffed and it is possible that there are less housekeeping staff than normal but the rooms need more attention between guests than they are getting. The AC vent was the only thing that was pretty dirty. Under the bed has not had a lot of attention, as well as spiderwebs under the sink. Lastly they could benefit with more regular pest control. There were large bugs in the restroom.
