Very clean and comfortable. Nice rooms. Laundry on site. Staff is friendly. Hotel looks new inside. Breakfast could be better for the rate of $170/night - but it’s pretty much the same as every hotel chain if that’s your thing.

I thought the rate per night was high but there are very limited options in Taft. Other than that, no complaints!

Facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was Great!

Sadly the bed and the chairs in our room were well used. The bed was once a great mattress but could use a replacement due to being lumpy and could feel some springs or coils. The chairs - desk chair was very abused and we had a hard time adjusting it so that we didn't feel like we were falling backwards and it would not hold compression so it would not hold level and it would slam you to the bottom. The side chair with ottoman started out ok but then I realized my back was hurting because the padding in the back was extremely lacking and I literally had the lower brace on the back of the chair pressing against my back with nothing more than the material as cushion.

$35.00 dollars charge if your room is available early . Stayed in hundreds of hotels the first time coming across this . Not good first impression

This is a wonderful new hotel that is unexpectedly good given that it is located in Taft. The facilities are great and the staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast was great too. It's a real gem in this remote rural community. If you are tired of driving on Interstate 5, take highway 33 instead and stop for the night at this hotel. It's a great deal.

The wifi and cable TV went out later in the evening. When I asked the front desk apparently these outages happen because they only have one internet/TV option in town (Spectrum). No competition means bad service.

Property was easy to find, parking was available near entrance, building seemed like new, staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. Breakfast selection was pretty good.

A bit far from main highway (Route 5)

I want to thank Robert, the Maintenance Man who on Saturday came in and found my Wedding Ring, that had fallen down the Bathroom Sink. He recovered the Ring and fixed the sink so it would not ever happen again. Thank you Robert for all that you did.

The Price of the Room was a bit high for the Area.

We didn't get ready in time for breakfast. Had a visit with the college. This hotel was clean and everyone was very friendly.

Nothing. We didn't stay long enough to notice any improvements needed.

The room was clean and the bedding was soooo comfortable. So much that we looked up on line to see how we can buy the pillows they had. Had a great night sleep.

The only thing I didn't like was there was no oatmeal made at breakfast. Other than that the food was great.

Front staff was exceptionally nice on both stays. We had a truck full stuff and they allowed us to park up in front.  Breakfast was good, clean and hot
