As always the woman at the front desk was very helpful and understanding. She gave us a good room and the process of checking in was very smooth, ie no paperwork. We thought she was so professional that she should have, if she wasn't, been on her way up within the vagabond hotel companies to a management position.

That we could not just sleep in in the morning because housekeeping knocked and continued to knock on our door, but the worst part was the gardeners that started their engines at 7-7:20 in the morning and as I was unloading my car with my shower items a man on the staff was washing off the sidewalk and I had no where to set my clean dry clothing while I locked up my car. All in all it was within my early morning routine to have to leave my car open while I took my things inside my room which was very uncomfortable because there happened to be numerous men hanging out all around that made me feel very uncomfortable

The staff were great and especially the security was one of the best I ever met not lazy and very helpful and a very caring man that's because my dog was sick and he knew what to do to make my dog better thank u sir I'm sorry I forgot his name but he's been there many years and we appreciate a man that takes pride in his work thank u sir my name is angel Hernandez and I'll make sure people like you are appreciated to the vagobound south and staff Bakersfield appreciate the love and services you provide for us while we're there it's my first time I ever appreciated any one thank u.

Room was clean. Friendly lady at front desk. Overall I just like staying here I feel comfortable and “SAFE” I enjoy the breakfast… Thank you

Maintenance was needed in out room our toilet was broken. Then moved to different room and when you flushed the toilet would leak large amount of water . The base of the toilet was leaking water under wax ring. I didn’t want to move again. We booked online for deluxe king room with one king and full or king and queen or two queens. We got on full size bed extremely inconvenient was my second trip their trying to rent room I was exhausted

It is very comfortable. It has breakfast included from 4am to 9am. Waffles, cereal, orange juice. Coffee & milk. Rooms are clean but staff is rude. From front desk to housekeeping. Pool is open from 8am to 8pm. Sometimes they won't open it if it's too dirty. Cheap when u get it online..

Staff is rude. Housekeeping is stupid. They get mad if u check out and room is dirty..They expect u to leave it clean. I'm talking about swept and everyday. If towels are too dirty, they get mad..I got kicked out with my family because they say I left my room filthy and dirty when I always make sure I clean before I check out. It's full of tweakers in and out.

love the location, lots of restaurants around, you have a walmart within walking distance.

my key wasnt working and I had to get a new one,(just a little annoying because I had bought groceries and had to go walk back to the office to get a new card) the 2nd day housekeeping was knocking at my door at 9am(my do not disturb sign was on my door) check out is at 11am no resson to be knocking on doors so early.

They didn't charge us and make us pay $20 extra cash aside from our reservation BKFD INN AND SUITES REAPS PEOPLE OFF BY DOING THAT AND ITS WRONG YOU HAVE IMPROVED FROM LAST TIME STAFF MUCH NICER PLEASANT AND MORE CLEAN QUITE NO HOMELESS HANGING AROUND OR DRAMA GOING ON YOUR PLACE HAS IMPROVED I HAVE NOW FOUND NEW PLACE TO GET AWAY TO ASIDE FROM DAUGHTERS HOUSE THANK YOU I WOULD AND HAVE Recommend YOU TO OTHER FRIENDS YOUR A BETTER GET AWAY FROM IN IT ALL SPOT YOU ROCK GOD BLESS

The facility was secure with cameras and well lit. Very comfortable and clean room. A simple free breakfast with waffles and cereal with orange juice and coffee to save money for one meal was great. Love the food and grocery options around.

Would love it if they had a working vending machine for a quick trip to get something to drink.

I liked it because it was clean it had refrigerator and microwave the only thing with missing was a trash can and ashtray for the smoking room that's it otherwise it was excellent

There was no ashtray in the smoking room or no trash can that's all and I don't want upstairs again I forgot to have a handicap downstairs

The room was clean. The bed and the pillow were comfy - I am disabled w/a bad back so it was nice to sleep on a nice bed and pillow.

I booked the room for a Mon, Tues night - however I needed to stay until Fri. I booked it on Booking,com - but when I went up to pay I was told I had to check out and come back at 3pm. At this time I was homeless waiting for the paperwork to be signed on Friday. All the other hotels I stayed at let me stay when I booked it online - I was never told to check out and come back 4 hours later.
