Everything was well taken care of and in good repair. The room was spacious and comfortable. My family appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. I also needed to print a document for our convention and was able to do so with the printer provided in the lobby.

The location was odd, tucked back away off a side street I missed the turn at first, but it was easy to get to other places around town. The side door was difficult to enter/exit with little kids, it was heavy and awkward and double doored one you had to key and they another and the opened into each other which made it difficult.

The rooms were very nice, modern . Motion sensor lighting in bathroom. Large walk in showers. Bedding was nice including nice pillows.Breakfast was simple but ok. Could use more toasters as there was a line waiting to toast their bread. Two flavors of waffles were offered. Oatmeal was thin. I did not see any fresh fruit which would have been nice. Coded gate entrance to parking was very nice as area is just off freeway.

There was a tray with coffee etc and single serve coffee maker. However, that tray was placed on the bottom shelf of the tv console. Its cord was run through a hole in back and then plugged in. We could not put the tray on top of the counter. No extra cord. We even got down on hands and knees to see what could be done. Nothing!! Could not use. Front desk had no interest in helping with this matter. Had to go down to lobby for coffee first thing in morning.

Staying at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Bakersfield Central was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Bakersfield, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping centers, and highways. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it a great place to relax after a long day. One of the highlights was the complimentary hot breakfast, offering a variety of options that were both kid-friendly and satisfying. The staff was friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist with anything we needed. We also appreciated the free parking and access to the fitness center and outdoor pool, which added extra convenience and enjoyment to our stay.

We were fleeing the LA wildfires with 2 cats, and staff waived the usual $75 pet deposit. The bathroom was extremely clean, and so were all of the bed linens. The room was neat, and the bathroom tissue had been folded like a rose; the toilet paper folded like a triangle. The toiletries were full and smelled great (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and body lotion). Breakfast had good variety and flavor, and the coffee was very good! Our TV had good entertainment options, the beds were comfortable, and the A/C was quiet & effective.

The carpet had a little shed fur, but all rooms allow pets, so it's to be expected. The bedding was clean, but also unironed. The body lotion had an unpleasant, heavy/greasy texture. In the first room I stayed in (409) an extremely loud humming sound vibrated the room about every half hour for 5 minutes at a time. I tried to tolerate it, and checked to see if it was the elevator or ice machine (no to both), but after a night asked to be moved. The staff accommodated my request, and the new room (417) was quiet & peaceful.

Heated pool, hot breakfast, helpful and caring staff (the lady that checked us in was the best), security fence around the property, and the location was within 4 miles of everywhere we needed to go.

There were kids running around the entire hotel while their parents sat in the lobby getting drunk. While we were checking in the front desk clerk tried to calm the children. She was patient and kind to them - while their parents did nothing. Again - She was awesome! There were no hard boiled eggs - only complaint about the actual property!

There were get choices for breakfast and constantly replenished. Every place we went in the facility was absolutely clean including our room. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. This will be our regular place to stay on trips between Stockton to LaQuinta to visit our granddaughter.

My only recommendation would be to move the coffee maker to a higher location in the room. For us older folks having to bend down to make the coffee doesn't work. Thankfully there is great coffee in he eating area.

We only stayed for one night because we were on our way somewhere else. We felt that once we were at the hotel, we would have liked to stay for a couple of days more to enjoy the hotel and relax. The staff at the reception were lovely.

It's not that I didn't like it but breakfast was quite basic. It was ok. On the other hand, all the other hotels that I stayed in, had more or less the same breakfast. Basic and not much variety. As I said, it was ok.

The hotel seems brand new! Very clean, smells new. The room looked hardly used. It was so quiet and peaceful. The gym was nice and had plenty of equipment to choose from, the room was spacious, the breakfast was very nice as well!

The location feels a little sketchy but the hotel is off the main road in its own little safe space. The hotel provides a gate as well to protect your vehicle which made me feel much better.

The pillows were comfortable and the blankets kept me warm enough at night. Many hotels don't offer enough blankets to keep warm when the air is on.

But the mattress was too firm for my liking. I was tired enough to sleep, but woke up stiff. The breakfast eggs and potatoes were fine, but it would have been nice to have some fruit options.

It was very clean, the building and room looked brand new. Great breakfast (waffles!) and it was well stocked even towards the end of breakfast time. The room was well stocked with towels etc. The soaps smell fantastic! Very comfortable beds also.

The front desk worker was a bit dismissive. There was a banging sound we couldn't quite identify.
