Very family friendly. The staff were excellent. We needed a Check in time after 11pm and they accommodated that just fine. Breakfast was excellent. The chef cooked up some great omelets. There were good choices for everyone including the kids. The room was clean beds were comfortable and the AC was cold.

The only thing I wish I knew before I booked was that the pool is being renovated. My son was really bummed. We originally had 2 nights booked but cancelled the second to go to a property near by that had a functional pool (only because it was 90*

Pet friendly! They are okay with you walking your dog outside the front of the hotel. There is plenty of grass and enough room for my pup to run around. Large parking lot. Breakfast & Dinner. The staff is friendly. I felt safe in the building. The room (double) was clean and spacious.

I didn't like that the hotel allows semi trucks and utility trucks to park in the back lot over night. I could not take my dog to their dog area (especially at night) because I didn't feel safe walking and/or playing with my dog near the trucks. When I took my dog out, I noticed a semi driver who was parked; he was staring at me. Another semi truck just sat there idling for at least 20 minutes, which is annoying to hear if out on a peaceful walk. I advise to not park behind the hotel, and be cautious if you need to walk your dog in their "dog run." Stay in the front of the hotel if you're going outside for a walk.

The staff here really make an effort. The reception is helpful and friendly and after a long day that makes a difference for a traveler. The room we had, with two queens, was plenty big and had a sitting area and two closets, plus and sink, frigo, microwave and coffee area. There is plenty of parking available and easy access to freeways. The coffee is good and the breakfast is a big step up from most hotels of this type. The thing I liked the most was the indoor pool and the outside jacuzzi.

My room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. All the necessary amenities were readily available which is fantastic, the property also seemed really clean.

The swimming pool seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned recently.. I went swimming and would find myself frequently removing long blond hairs (I’m brunette) Also, the mini fridge in my room seemed to have a mind of its own.. one day it seemed like it wasn’t cooling at all, and the next it was freezing my items..

Everything was pretty nice, clean and comfortable. It would have been perfect if they served bar food service on the weekend. We had to go out to eat Saturday and Sunday nights. Also, the pool wasn't open due to a crack in the pool. We understand they closed it for safety reasons and hopefully they will have it repaired sooner than later.

The cleanliness of the hotel was great.

The phone that we had did not work to call the front desk. Our tv was not working for hours and trying to get ahold of someone was impossible unless I walked down stairs. Paying for Hilton I expected a lot more. I feel like I paid too much for all the inconveniences coming from a hotel with such high quality.

The breakfast and service were really good.

When I got to my room, we didn't have bath towels, only face and hand towels. Seemed a little odd, but when we called to bring up bath towels, we received 4 bath mats and 1 bath towel. We found a cleaning person in the hallway and asked for an additional bath towel.

The breakfast was wonderful, as always. The dinner was quite good as well. The staff at the Bar and front desk were helpful and interesting people. They gave the hotel a feeling of community.

I always choose this hotel in Bakersfield because of the pool. It was closed and that was a big disappointment for me because I have to exercise every day. Otherwise, it is a great choice in Bakersfield. It has a very good business room where one can work with good equipment.

Clean. We found dog urine in the room and the staff promptly cleaned it. No problem.

Some parking issues and my car was dinged. The hotel wasn’t responsible. It was a patron.
