The staff here made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. They treated us like family. Comfortable clean and a beautiful view. The courtyard was amazing! Go for a stroll, BBQ picnic area,Olympic size clean pool, jacuzzi, and the gazebo very impressive! The Chef there fantastic. The food wonderful nothing greasy. Our room stayed clean and staff was on top of everything. I loved our patio. We stayed 5 days and we will never stay anywhere else in Bakersfield through our travels. Again Staff 100% perfect 👌

What I enjoyed about my stay here is that they have gated parking, the room was big with plenty of plugs where I can plug in my electronic devices, curtains that not only provide great privacy but also block out the heat of the sun, and they have an AC/Heater right there in the room. The room is decently large, the bed was very comfortable as well as the blankets. The shower wasn't bad, it's also a tub. They provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The soap isn't bad but of course, recommend to bring your own. If you have a Costco membership, Costco is only 5min away and ampm is even closer. They have breakfast but I believe it's only $1. I stayed for two nights and it was definitely affordable. During my time there I paid $77 a night. The location is fairly large. They have a pool, a spa that is definitely warm, and a gym. So if you want to go for a safe walk, you can definitely do so around the hotel. They also have a bar with karaoke. Cant provide feedback on that since I didn't go in. To use the gate, you get human interaction every time you come in and leave the gated parking lot. The neighborhood doesn't look like a place you'd want to hang out too in. And mostly everything closes around 12 am, so there really isn't any need to and I personally didn't, so I don't have an opinion on that matter. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay and when I go back to Bakersfield, I will definitely go back.

I kinda wish there were bigger trashcans inside. Other than that, I don't have any complaints:)

I don’t like the upgraded tech tbh. I feel like James Bond trying to break into my own hotel room now. had to wait 5 mins to get my car through the gate because no one was there to answer the phone in the morning, had to park and run through the lobby to get something back in my room… the keys reset every other day so I can’t just go back to my room. I have to keep going to the front desk to get in a lot. only one key per room on a phone, so don’t let your phone die lol. maybe that’ll get fixed soon too idk. prices been going up a bit. still like it though. Just not every tech upgrade is for the better. We know that with certain iPhone and pc software upgrades haha.

Gated secure parking bar part of the hotel nice crowd girls at front desk were awesome everything was great the only thing I had a bit of an issue with was having to leave $200 de posit and have to wait till 9am the next day to get it back so I couldn’t leave any sooner and totally ruined my plans that I already had scheduled I figured since I’ve stayed there before without any issues or complaints I wouldn’t have to leave a deposit so I can get up and go the next day without any worries

No access back into the hotel from the bar disliked having to walk all the way to the front entrance then walk all the way to my room only exiting from the inside but no access into after 10pm

Nice room. Discount for dinner in attached Cafe. Excellent breakfast. Lovely center courtyard with pool, palms, rose bushes, bamboo.

The bed had only a sheet. There was a thin, queen sized (for a King sized bed) blankets in the closet. When I asked about getting another blanket, I was advised to turn the heat up in the room. While I didn't hear noise from the next door rooms, I definitely heard quite a bit from upstairs.

It's hard to find hotels with free parking right outside your room so this was very appreciated. The pool area has a nice garden with fantastic atmosphere. Real diner breakfast for a bargain (2$) in a cozy restaurant. The room was amazing for the price, nice interior, very clean and comfortable bed. The whole place has a romantic vibe. A few minutes walk to a night open Denny's.

You have to pay a deposition, which adds a stress if you're traveling on a budget. There was technology issues both at the reception and in the bar. The bar has a nice vibe and they have karakoke every night at 8 pm, but the toilets were worn out. The ladies room was out of service and when I used the men's room the booth didn't have a lock (?). No soap, I had to wash my hands with only water. It felt and looked dirty. We were almost alone in the bar but on a crowded night I wouldn't use the toilet as a woman. If the staff use the same toilet as the guests they will not be able to keep their hands clean.

The price is perfect depending how you reserve the room either thru them or thru a third party like booking.com expedia.com ect ect. Obviously there is $100 dollar deposit which is 100% refundable. Also things that people don't realize they have their own restaurant and bar also the pool and a Gym things that some travelers don't realize that Duniya have than other Hotels.

Since I stayed 2 nights in Duniya Hotel The first room(270) was perfect everything work the bad thing was in the second floor. AC comfortable beds TV actually work microwave. But in the 2nd room in the other hand it didn't had a microwave it did had a fridge AC work TV didn't work at all beds for some reason were a little uncomfortable but still slept well. I did told staff about the TV it took them 2hrs to come and fix it but at the end they did came to fix the TV.

I don’t know why everybody was dumping on this place, I stayed for the night and really had no issues getting into my room and checking in. The staff seem really friendly and informative about the area around. Having the diner and bar connected to the side of it was a nice touch as well.

I had a little trouble with my key connecting to my room, but it was a quick fix that they were more than happy to handle right away. It also helps to tell your guests that you need the room keys to leave the parking lot but luckily someone am I traveling party still held onto there is cause they didn’t check out yet.

Very beautiful inside. The pool and spa were nice. Staff were kind and friendly. It is an older Motel, and they are upgrading it. Colby Bryant's car in the lobby. Air conditioning was fabulous. They have banana trees around the pool with fruit on them. They are so awesome. Makes you feel like you are in the tropics. You must ask for a towel for the pool. Most Motels have towels available in the pool area.

The pool was dirty with leaves and seeds from the trees. There were only 2 bath towels for 4 people. The $200 deposit was not mentioned when booking on "Booking.com". I feel this is important information for travelers. Luckily they release the deposit after 12:00 . Not all hotels are that kind. The breakfast is not free but there are 5 choices for $1.99 ples tax at their restaurant.

The price was good, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the hotel employees were very nice and we enjoyed the sit-down free breakfast.

Entrance to the parking area was limited to one gate. This forced us to go against a 'one way only' traffic sign in the parking area to get to our room (located at the back of the hotel property) and the parking slots near it. At one point a semi-truck parked in front of the one entry gate preventing anyone from using that gate. Luckily, there was a second gate which would allow you to exit the parking lot, but not to enter it. The Wifi also went down on Saturday night and the front desk did not know how to resolve it. It was back up Sunday morning after someone reset the modem/router.
