I was happy with no hidden fees and rooms gave been very clean when I stayed another time.

The lighting was a bit dim, even with several lamps. I'm guessing the room paint yellowish tone contributes. I'm not taking any points off for that, though. I also did not like reserving my room online, driving several hours, and arriving after 8 pm when I checked the box for arriving between 7-8. One box said, "Do not know". I'll use that next time. A few months back, I was denied my room (other Super 8 in Bakersfield). I arrived at 10 pm, dude didn't give me my room. So I event to the Red Roof Inn across from them. Again, not deducting for that. Wish drink machines working, but assume it's due to vandalism, theft, etc.

I didn't have any breakfast there. Did they serve one? If so, where? I did enjoy the bowling alley eating establishment right next door. The food was good and the service great. I also appreciated the towels at the motel. They felt as though they had used a softener or dryer cloth when laundering them. The staff there was also very nice. I liked the place so much that I stayed there on my way to my daughter's in San Francisco and also on my way home. I will stay there again should I drive the next trip.

The location

The front office tried to charge me a $60 cash down payment, when I tried to pay with a debit card the guy said “never mind” and gave me my key.. that was very weird to say the least. I had paid in full with my online reservation

Front desk and house keeping workers are very professional and kind. They keep the property clean and always make their rounds throughout both night and day to ensure everyone’s safety and make sure the place is kept clean.

The room was nice and in a good location. Front desk lady was very nice.

The breakfast consisted of waffles. That’s it so I think you could do a lot better. There’s a RV parking spot that is not marked as such and j parked there and was blocked in. Manager was nice but told me I parked in the wrong spot. I said how am I to know that with no sign. She said it happens all the time. So I think I would invest in a sign. Vending machines were empty my whole stay 6 days. No drink machines that were full or didn’t work.

The girl that works in the morning is really a true blessing and is very lienant with me I highly appreciate her , other staff there are also very alike and highly appreciated, it’s peaceful , quiet etc etc….

I like the fact that the room was clean, the staff was polite, and quick to make sure I had everything I needed.

The only thing I didn't like, was the TV channels didn't all come in like they should.

I liked the way the staff came really quick to check out a little issue I had with something in my room.

I didn't like the people running up and down the stairs at all hours of the night.

The Indian girl that works is amazing she is so helpful and friendly and is always able to answer all of a questions.

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. As A Wyndham Diamondemner we were upgraded to a Jacuzzi room and check out was extended to 2pm. Lovely people at the front desk. Highly recommended.
