Perfect location for Pepperdine and beach access at a very low cost. It is a 2 start property but delivers fully on what it is supposed to- cheap accommodations in a great location. I have stayed at other more expensive properties in the area, but frequently stay here as it really serves its purpose when you wont be spending much time at the motel. We left a fully loaded down car in the parking lot for 4 nights and nothing was taken/disturbed. Staff was helpful especially Jacob and Richard. Best value in southern California. Within 2 minute walk of Albertsons, Starbucks and restaurants. Great hiking nearby as well.

Very clean hotel room in good condition. Ample parking although at the moment it seems to be overrun by giant contractor's trucks parked rather badly (not the hotel's fault). Friendly desk staff during day. Good area to stay for my work location. VERY WELL LIT campus and well-lit, clean walk ways.

In-person check out was inconvenient for me since I prepaid and I had to walk a maze to get to the front office. It would be nice if the coffee was ready before 6 but there was a Starbucks close by. It would be nice to have bar soap in the tub and shower caps. No extra blankets or coffee machine in room (but coffee at office after 6)

We stayed here for our son's graduation from Pepperdine University. It was handy locally to Calabasas where he was living and was easy access to Pepperdine through the Canyon. Room was spacious enough for our needs. We liked that there was a pool area where we could hang out in the evening.

Bathroom layout was a bit odd - there was just a cheap concertina door separating the bedroom from the toilet and shower. We've stayed a few times in this hotel and not experienced this type of room before.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure for comfort. Everyone that works here has been undeniably professional and kind. The location is a little out of the way but for us it was so nice to just be able to walk down the street with no heavy traffic beautiful scenery and even nicer weather. This has been the first time we have truly really safe in a hotel environment that we took the kids out for multiple walks!!! To come back and be welcomed like it was our first time everytime!!!!

I had such a fantastic time staying at Good Nite Inn Calabasas. I traveled to Cali for a friends wedding and the hotel everyone was staying at was too expensive. Good Nite is an affordable hotel in a great location (10 min from the wedding). It's near a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, and fast food. The staff were very friendly at check in and check out. My room over looked the pool and was very quiet at night. I was a woman traveling alone and at no point did I feel unsafe. I will def be staying here again if i make it back to the area.

I was scared it was not going to be as good as the photos but the stay was amazing! We walked into the room and it felt clean not dirty. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We also felt safe in the area and the staff were very nice! I would recommend if you’re looking for a close staycation. The price was amazing for the room you are getting. We will be coming back when we just want a little vacation not too far from home!

The place was quiet and located a short walking distance to food. There is also a nice little creek area nearby. My room was facing the parking lot, which I was ok with since I was in a hurry to check in. But there are rooms that face a pretty courtyard and pool, and I would choose one of those next time. The bed was comfy.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the floor seemed damp… Not sure why.

Our room was exceptionally clean with no scent of chemicals, not even on the sheets/cases. As close to 101 as it is, our room was very quiet, even on Saturday night. The room was well insulated from sound, surprisingly quiet considering the great price. Sure, there was SOME sound - I was aware of other visitors in the units on either side (drawers/doors closing and of course shower turning on) - but I never heard a voice or music or TV. The bed was firm and the pillows were too, in a good way, kind of like a nordic-style pillow. Fridge, iron, hairdryer, all equipped and relatively new. I felt safe there.

I don't know what all the complaints are about, the room was fine. Clean, comfortable and the air conditioning unit was relatively quiet. I didn't use the pool but there was never anyone there. The staff were friendly, I checked in late and when I asked they gave me a list of nearby restaurants. It's on a road but not a highway. It's a shot walk to places like Subway and Starbucks for coffee. There's also restaurants, like a really good Mexican place, Sharkey's there as well. It's a short drive to the the Santa Monica Mountains visitor centre and trailheads for nearby hikes (I recommend the Mishe Mokwa trail about 45mins drive west of here). Malibu and Sata Monica are also within easy reach. Those people complaining about the noise would need to get a place up in the hills about 10 times the price.

Location, great value for price compared to elsewhere. Pretty quiet and decent clean room. Little old but can not complain about what I was given. Happy all together and will definitely stay again and recommend.

Outdated and old ac unit. Definitely need to upgrade and modernize. Also even though the coffee option in the AM was a great addition but they also should have something like bagels/donuts as well.
