Overall it was a good place to stay. Clean and nice, but very old! We were provided a room not far from hotel entrance at main floor. It met my wife's disability a lot and as a matter of fact was designed for that matter. I recommend this place to my friends.

It is an old facility, and is next to a construction site that makes it look a little odd...! It is far from any shopping or an area that one can walk if needs grocery or things of that kinds. They do not have breakfast and I knew about it, so it is hard to find anything around if you do not have a car and we did not! I know ther was a cafe across the Sand Canyon...

I stayed in this hotel before when it was Candlewood Suites. Since then the property was renovated, and probably they replaced the furniture. I had kitchenette room with microwave, stove and full size refrigerator. The room was very clean and the bed was great. The staff was more friendly than before. There is also a gym in the hotel with many machines, but I did not use that. So in general it would be a great value hotel for travelers, especially for staying for 2-4 days. There is also a nice paved walking/bicycle trail to enjoy.

Google map does not lead to hotel lobby, it shows its location just where other building is located and finding it at night was not intuitive. Irvine is a very special city owned by a private company, and thus there are several fees not listed on Booking - it is $12 per night local tax, $75 pet fee + $6 tax on this fee, and parking is $7 per day. Not something you expect outside of this area. The room has traditional Amana motel-style air conditioner which was very noisy, and the same applies to bathroom fan. This noise is usual in low-cost motels, but it is not matching the new personality of the hotel.

The fact that it was very spacious,and the bathroom was big and handicapped equipped, not that I am a handicapped but it’s a nice feature.

I do y have anything bad to say about the place . The o my thing was my wife and I were concerned because there was water oozing from the floor in front of the cinc, we thought we dropped some water so we wiped it out,but then 10 min later I went to get some water from the fridge and there it was a puddle of water in the same spot so since it was past 2 am we decided to wait till we left and talk to the receptionist, and she send someone immediately.

Good location, good value kitchenette was perfect for our needs, front desk people were super helpful.

Surprised by being charged for parking, felt a little bit taken advantage of, in 40 years for biz travel don't recall paying for suburban hotel parking once.

I like all of things, location, near to the emergency care. The hotel is clean and have the kitchen for cooking. The employees are fantastic and helpful. Thank you

The laundry machine, it hard for the foreigner to get the app to purchase for the machine. This is only thing that I don't like. Thank you

I immediately felt welcomed as I checked in.. John was friendly, calm & efficient .. he accommodated my room request which added to my comfort level. I highly recommend this hotel for its quality staff, great location & very cozy & comfortable rooms.

all in all my stay was amazing and would come back for sure next year. what made my stay at sonesta is the friendliness of the stay and how helpful they were, to me that was a big plus.

Everything was ok. It is just if i need something i reach out to front desk and they are very helpful and always available with a smile. The location is good but a little far from the restaurants and shops which you can go by car or Uber. I went to the other hotels to see the condition of their room and kitchens, this is best amongst 2 others located nearby, take my words. It is also in a quite location.

Everything was very nice. However the elevator did not work and I was not notified ahead of time. There's also a $7 charge for parking, strange, as it's an open parking lot.
