The room was very clean and the suite was large and spacious! The fireplace was a nice perk and they provided 2 Duraflame logs which was considerate. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Full kitchen facilities and fridge with freezer. Plenty of parking and close drive to "downtown" Julian. Some local restaurants and shops across the street and next door. Peaceful sitting area in the back.

My only feedback would be that noise from the room downstairs was very easy to hear, including screaming and running children early in the morning. Perhaps a soundproof padding could be installed under the carpet.

The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean and big enough to move around in. The sink looked like a washtub (design) but was functional. The shower worked but wouldn't shut off for a tub bath. I liked the mini frig even though it froze the food. I loved the Keurig coffee machine. I liked the furniture and the TV was great! It was rustic but was great for us because we brought our little dog. There are great restaurants next door and across the street.

We need a safety bar in the bathtub/shower. There are no paper towels, and there are no extra trash bags, but I guess you can ask for them.

Location is in a great area that is really close to many restaraunts and shops. About 6 mins away from the heart of Julian. We brought our dogs and the room was very spacious for four. There is a spacious yard area in the back of the Inn where you can lounge with your dogs on leash. Heater and warm blankets were nice for the snowy weather we got the days we visited. Overall would recommend for a friendly dog spot.

We noticed some towels and linen with stains and tried to work around it.

We stayed at the Apple Tree Inn as a quick stop to resupply my partner who’s hiking the PCT, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. This is a budget hotel, but don’t let that fool you—the room was exceptionally clean, freshly renovated, and very comfortable. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful, which made our short stay even more pleasant. Right next door, we discovered an unexpectedly high-quality restaurant and had an amazing meal—definitely a highlight of our stop.

We liked the proximity to the Restaurant we chose to celebrate my Sister beating 2 cancers in 1 year.

There was no table or any chairs in our room for 4 of us. We had to call and ask the employee on call to bring us a table and chairs, ice and a microwave. He showed up right away and got us everything we requested. He very kindly suggested we get the suite next time, since they were the only rooms with a table.

They sent me a text instructions on how to obtain my key from a lock box. it only said **Please Read** when it popped up, so I thought it was spam and didn’t open it. When I got to the property there was no one in the office so I called. They asked if I had received their text and I said I hadn’t and they were going to send someone over. I then checked my texts and found it and called them back to not come. It would have been far better if they had put **Apple Tree Inn** at the top of the text so I would have known it was legitimate and opened it.

Room: Floor was very dusty. We could not walk around in our bare feet. The staff mopped it on the second day but by two days later it was dusty again. Chairs need to be replaced or re-upholstered. To sit on them you could feel the wood frame about the legs.

Great location. Comfortable bed. Just a few minutes outside of Jullian. Has some great restaurants within walking distance. Owners are very helpful and professional. We were having problems with TV but they came and helped us fix the issue.

The housekeeping could be better. I asked for new sheets but they just made bed. A couple of dirty towels left behind. Floors were dirty.

Beds were comfy, room was spacious and clean. Great bar & grill (Heroes) across the street ( closes @ 8 pm) with burgers, pizza, and live music when we stayed there. Also an awesome bakery and small coffee shop across the street for morning meals. There is also a fancy “Farm to Table” restaurant next door that looked expensive.

Not actually in Julian, 3 miles west in Wynona. Also, no one in the front desk, have to text manager. Strangest part was that you only get one key per room and the door only locks from the inside by using the key.

My mom and I stayed at Apple Tree Inn with our 3 dogs to escape the New Year's fireworks in San Diego. It was the perfect low key getaway.

The shower could have been cleaner and I had to ask for a second roll of toilet paper. No big deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
