The location of the Inn on First was perfect! We were able to easily walk to so many places in Napa. The property is beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the afternoon cookies were a nice treat. The room was spacious and comfortable!

The bathroom was a little small and could use some love (paint peeling). Not necessarily something we didn't like but a suggestion would be to have games to play on that gorgeous downstairs table. Maybe we missed them and if so having them pointed out would have been nice.

Great sized room with a nice seating area and fireplace. We enjoyed the quiet location and its proximity to downtown. For the most part we left our car behind and explored on foot. The breakfast was good and we appreciated that it was freshly made.

Only wish the weather was better so we would have had an opportunity to sit outside. The mini fridge made some noises, but it wasn’t enough to complain about.

Loved this property - made our Napa trip so much better! The home, grounds, and room with balcony were perfect. Nice comfy bed, clean bathroom. Music playing in the lobby made for ideal ambiance. Very nice to sit outside in the morning for breakfast.

A little bit of a walk away from main stretch of bars and restaurants (sweaty on a hot day). Room layout is very interesting with a large tub in the room. We didn’t really interact with anyone because we checked in relatively late.

Beautiful and private

The bathroom is integrated into the room itself - there’s no separation between the bed and the bathtub- all in one big room (the toilet is thankfully behind a door in a tiny separate room). The entire bathroom are and tub are white tile. The cleaning staff uses VERY strong bleach to keep it clean and the smell of bleach made it hard to sleep. When returning to the room, we were hit with the smell of bleach immediately and had to open the windows and balcony door to air it out.

Breakfast each morning was delicious. The cooks and staff were great. The location was good - close to downtown Napa. I able to walk to the Riverfront and all the shops in that area.

I wish there was an ice machine in the lobby/dining area. It'd make getting an ice bucket easier than making sure to ask the staff for a bucket. I was able to grab one that the staff would leave out but there was a limited quantity and I feel like an ice machine could make that more readily available.

The breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola to start. Follow by a choice of entree with breakfast potatoes and a salad. Very filling and set a great base for a day of wine tasting. The entree options were a bit redundant after a couple of days but the food was magnificent.

A bit more variability in the breakfast entrees would have been nice. The staff was very kind and attentive while onsite but communication was a bit slow leading up to our trip.

Our first Bed & Breakfast, and I couldn’t recommend it more! The Inn on First was a 10 out of 10. First, our location was perfect -just a few short minutes and you were in the heart of town. Next, the room was just so cozy and had so many amenities- great value! We had a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub all to ourselves. Lastly, the hosts were fantastic! Breakfast was always delicious and prepped your stomach for a long day of drinking wine. They even gave you a little bottle of wine to welcome you to your stay, and there’s a big outdoor patio for you to enjoy your drinks outside or by the outdoor fire pit. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for a great stay!

Quiet location but still a walking distance to downtown, great breakfast, cute garden, staff members were nice and accommodating.

It's an old building so you can hear creeks and sounds from the hallway and some of the other rooms

Great location, easy walk into town. Parking lot was full when we got back later in the evening but there was plenty of on street parking available. Breakfast was superb!

The only thing I didn't realize was there was a unit above us and the people came back around midnight. Not really noisy but we heard them walking around as we were trying to get to sleep.

Suuuuuper friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. For the price, the facilities are exceptional. The gardens were also lovely.

We got a room with a spa and the jets on the tub were not working, definitely not a big deal, but it would've been nice. Also, there are plugs in the room, but can be hard to get to. Finally, the shower was meh.
