The blinds and size of the room, nice finishes , the mattress was very comfortable. The location was easy to be able to walk downtown

I thought there should be a small microwave . The shower floor was TERRIFYING when it got wet - dangerously slippery , should be more bath mats available in the room, I did not see the mat rolled up on the back of the toilet until I had turned on the water and stepped in the shower and almost fell, almost banged elbow, almost banged my head. then turned off water to get out and look for mat, one was not enough , That tile should be removed and replaced !!

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy although I noticed that the parking lot was small and did become full not long after we arrived. The wifi was very good. Breakfast was also very good with a wide selection on offer.

We had a room facing Lakeville Street, which is a very busy street. The noise from the traffic was significant all through the night. It was very, very noisy! The room had a very high ceiling and we found it impossible to get the room warm. Despite it being a very warm day outside. It was rather cold which was not comfortable. The location of the hotel in Petaluma is about a 20-25 minute walk from the historic district. The walk is through a rather sketchy part of town. It wouldn't be safe at night, particularly alone.

The facility is an adaptive reuse of a ln old silk mill, built 1892. I lived two blocks away from it when it was still derelict. So very happy to see the care that was used to preserve and reuse this National Register property. I use the hotel as an example in my architecture history classes. First time staying there

Well it is pretty expensive. Could use some old fashioned towel racks in the bathroom. And why nor promote this as a historical property? Sell postcards with historic images...like the ones used as shades in the dining room.

Hampton Inn Petaluma turned out, to my surprise, to be a very nice place to hang out for 3 nights. Reasonably priced, at least during the week (Fri/Sat nights quite a bit more $$). It's in a repurposed old silk factory, with exposed brick walls and a cool vibe, quite close to downtown (although it isn't a very pleasant walk, as there's lots of traffic on nearby Lakeview Blvd.) The room was large, with a sitting area and good bathroom. Staff seemed friendly. They allow dogs, with a single-stay, not nightly, charge of $50. The included breakfast was really good, a bit different every day, w/ eggs, bacon or sausage, & the usual assortment of bagels, you-make waffles, cereal, and fruit. Dining area is spacious and pleasant. Easy parking w/ EV charging avail. Nice, small property that felt comfy even though it's corporate.

Well. . . .the hallways are very, very long & our room was a bit of a trek from the parking area w/ suitcases & the dog. No doubt because the place was a former factory, so the old shell was kept. minor point, really, everything else was pretty great.

Breakfast was great. Many selections so that everyone had choices. Bed was comfy and room and bathroom were very clean. I had a problem when I arrived - the bathroom light and bedside lamps wouldn't light up, so I called the reception desk. In less than 2 minutes a very personable handyman came in and fixed the issue. I was quite impressed. Reception staff was welcoming and friendly.I would highly recommend it

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the location. The Hampton Inn in Petaluma is a beautiful restored historical silk mill from the late 1800's. It is about a 10 min walk from downtown in an area that is being cleaned up. Safe to walk but the neighborhood was not as glorious as the Inn.

Location was nice, quiet, clean. Continental breakfast selection was better than others that we had. Gym was a little bonus for my teenage sons to get a little work out in. Proximity to downtown Petaluma was an all around plus. Choice of brand for hand soap, lotion, shampoo had a pleasant smell that my son wants his own bottle.

Bathroom was only stocked for 3 adults vs 4. Would be nice to have it stocked as the two queen beds accommodates up to 4 people.

This is a gorgeous site in the renovated historic Petaluma Silk Factory. They were able to maintain the beauty of the old factory but update it so it is modern and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and super clean. I also loved the staff at the front desk and at breakfast. They had up gorgeous fall decor (made by one of the staff) which was so pretty and a great touch. It is not far from downtown and a great coffee shop by the river (grand central).

Liked that it was an easy walk to downtown, we were there for a concert at the Mystic, didn't have to drive. Breakfast was better than expected for a hotel quick buffet.

Walls are a bit thin (could hear a baby crying a couple rooms down and people partying next door when we got back at midnight, but they quieted down when they realized we were back in our room. Would be nice to have bottled water in the room.

This is one of our go to spots when heading toward the coast! A little retreat that we keep exploring each time. Staff is friendly and fast, Breakfast is big for our family trips. We pick the suite every time so kids have their own space.

Understandably no pool, it's not that vibe and in an old silk mill. But we hit the coast anyway... who needs a pool? haha

I liked how easy it was to check in and get to my room. The rooms were spacious and had high ceilings which was nice! Relatively quiet and clean, modern feel. Breakfast was open until late morning and the staff was very helpful!

Only stayed one night so couldn't really tell you what wasn't so good, but the breakfast could've had a better selection. Whats cool was the waffle maker but other than that it was very basic.
