Beautiful hotel and good location

The noise isolation was poor. At one point, guests from neighboring rooms returned late at night from the bar downstairs and were screaming in the hallway. It was so loud that it felt as if they were inside the room. There is no private parking at the hotel, but the staff helped us out (you can easily park on the street between 4pm and 10am the next day ), so that wasn’t really a problem for us.

The hotel was very charming and beautiful. I also like the location and the walkability to restaurants, shops, and bars.

Although the rooms were cute, they weren't practical. There was nowhere to sit any of my things in the bathroom and there was nowhere to sit period. There was a barstool, way too high for where the reclaimed wood "bar" was. It didn't make sense. I can't imagine if I was sharing the room with a significant other. The bed was absolutely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. While the hotel lobby was gorgeous, I dreaded the end of the night because I didn't want to have to go to bed in that bed. It was so hard.

This is a great hotel in a historic building in the heart of Petaluma. It is easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and cafes. There is a beautiful lobby and the staff (Ton) is great. We have come here many times. There is coffee in the morning but there are also many great cafes nearby. I love Grant Central along the water.

The hotel is changing management so if you are there early (even by an hour) they charge you $25 to check into your room. There is no designated parking so you need to make sure you move your car so you don't get a ticket, or park in a nearby neighborhood.

The hotel is charming in a good location. I enjoyed taking morning walks around the neighborhood. The courtyard was inviting as well as the hotel's lobby fireplace.

Our room's bathroom was small and there was no real wardrobe closet. Just a bar with few hangers on top of the refrigerator. I could not hang my long dresses. The bar's selection is very poor. Need improvement.

Just about everything. The service was fantastic and friendly. The location was perfect (near to so much). The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Also had a decent price to boot!

The bed insanely uncomfortable. It was super hard and squeaky. Also not a big deal but I couldn't get either of my devices to stream even though the TV said I got them set up.

The historic ambiance is like taking a step back into time. This hotel is within walking distance of dozens of very good restaurants and tasting rooms. Great location. Just an hour’s drive from SFO.

The rooms are a little small but very comfortable.

The location was convenient to the highway but not too loud. There is a bar downstairs, which is nice although we didn't go since we got in quite late. The staff were very nice and helpful, and it looks like the hotel has been recently renovated.

Check-in was a little weird because it was late and so the entrance on the main road was closed so we had to go through the outdoor patio to get to the desk. There is also no parking, it is all street parking which necessitates moving your car every two hours during the day. The hallway by our room looked like it was in the middle of being repaired/renovated because it wasn't finished being painted. Not a huge deal, just something we noticed. There was also no breakfast, which was a bummer considering the price of the room, but we knew that going on.

Hotel is in downtown. Short walk to plenty of great restaurants. Lobby and terrace are beautiful. Hotel room was big enough for us 3 (king and extra bed). Bathroom was super clean. Free street parking was easy to find and close by.

Corner room was pretty noisy. Green walk sound from street crossing, noises from patio area and traffic. Hotel provides ear plugs though. Would have appreciated fresh milk with the complimentary coffee in the morning and not only the tiny creamer pods?

What a gem of a hotel! Old charming style, modern comfort and amenities. Cool bar. We ate in the attached restaurant which was delightful and delicious. Everyone we interacted with was gracious. Thanks for a brief bit great stay! I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The motion sensor in the bathroom at night sucked. Each time one of us got up to go to the bathroom the bright lights went on & woke the other person up. The little night light was plenty sufficient. There should be a way to decouple the motion sensor from the bright overhead lights at night.
