The breakfast - the pancake machine was amazing! Our toddler loved it ! The location was perfect - right off the freeway, near gas stations and near 2 fast food restaurants. The jacket/ bag hooks in the room were awesome and not something I had seen prior! The drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium was calm and simple! Highly recommend this location for others visiting for that very purpose as we did! Family orientated hotel!

We could not locate a water dispenser other than in the gym which we did not want to use all of ! As travelers who packed our own personal water bottles preferred not to purchase plastic ones but could not find a water fountain to fill up our bottles. Usually they are near the ice machine? Unless we missed that !

Booked two rooms for our family. Hotel is VERY clean throughout and from top to bottom. Great, accommodating and helpful staff. I had a bit of an issue checking in at first, but the front desk person worked her magic and resolved my problem right away! So thankful to her! Rooms were immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Secluded location at end of street for more privacy and great views of the mountains. Breakfast was legit good. Plenty of well lit and safe parking. Great value for the price. Wish all my travel stays were this great!

Nothing I didn’t like or would change about the property. Except next time I’ll ask not to be put in rooms directly under families with lots of kids. It sounded like they were having late night wrestling matches above us our first night! Just rude. : /

The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was adequate.

The location wasn't the best, but never felt unsafe. The road to the hotel was in terrible condition, and the traffic for the (in-N-out burger) made it difficult to get in and out

It was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and it had all the big essentials (bathroom, desk, lounge chair, comfortable bed) and small essentials (lots of hooks to hang purses/bags/sweaters/hats, coffee maker, fridge/cooler, large mirror, hair dryer) to accommodate my needs.

I wish there would have been a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

I enjoyed the cleanliness, comfortable beds, spacious room, very nice bathroom and kind staff. Also, gas station as well as In and out and Mc Donald’s are basically right next door.

That booking wanted me to download an app as well as my driver license which was not necessary. I also didn’t appreciate the early morning text messages from booking.com.

Staff was very rude at check in when I mentioned I forgot my ID. They did not want to check us in, although my husband had his ID with him. I had to figure out how to change the booking on his name and at that point they let us check in. Also I did not like that Breakfast has nothing gluten free.

Comfortable beds, quiet and staff was friendly.

The stationary bike in the fitness room was not working and no access to entertainment in there. The location was not the best since it was close to a very busy in/out Burger. There were not enough chair/ tables in the breakfast room.

I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn in Salinas! My stay actually quite exceeded my expectations since I was looking for an inexpensive double bed suite for my mom, 99-yo grandma, and myself. From the checkin, I had a warm interaction with the person at the front desk. When I asked if there was room service, she offered to give me accommodations (blankets) on the spot (for my grandma) and directed us with helpful info about breakfast, services, etc. I don't know if that helpfulness is mandatory service but some hotels like Hilton that I stayed at the previous night don't provide that helpful info on the spot. When I got to my room, it was a bigger room than I expected, with spacious beds, good Wi-Fi and a Samsung TV with good channels. The bathroom was spacious too and the heater was great. The rooms looked spacious and high-quality, and renovated. Breakfast the next day was really great - they have a variety of breakfasty foods to offer. I recommend this stay for anyone visiting temp or a few days in Salinas!!

My son and I love the placed we stayed in. place is clean,neat, and breadfast is awesome, and stuffs are very nice

,problems are some other guestes,so one of a father was wearing a pair of jeans, it was like half way hanging on his butt,so his red underwear is half way exposed to the air,with his walking,finally the whole jean is off his butt,so everyboy at that morning who were having breadfast got a chance to see his red underweae. And i don't know if just my bad luck or what,I stayed in fot 2 nights,first night,babe next door was awaked aroung 4am,noice never stoped,as baby was very active since 4am. Another night was the babies on the top of our roof,they were running around,moving stuffs, even though we called the front dest 2 times in an hour,noice were never away, till 11 pm.we were in this very disturbing noice for more than 2 hours,

Nice room of the usual standard for IHG. Microwave, fridge, bath, comfy bed, used the guest laundry, range of stuff for breakfast.

There was a little bit of road noise in the evening but it didn't affect our sleep once we had gone to bed.
