Plenty of room for family of 6. Breakfast buffet was so good and with different options. Staff very friendly. Beds are comfy. Away from freeway noise. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were a little stuffy, hot water was not available for our first night there, but fixed quickly. For those using Debit Cards, continue to check your accounts. I paid for our room weeks in advanced, when I got there, the hotel continued to charge my account over 250.00 each day for 4 days, telling me it was a glitch in the computer system. Possibly was, refund issued when brought to their attention, but will still be a couple days before it returns to my account. Side note: pleasant stay

Spacious room with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen at a relatively low price (by Californian standards). Multiple areas of the hotel were in renovation during my stay, but when it is finished, the hotel will have nice lobby/lunch area with a view of the inner court, which features a swimming pool. Nice helpful staff on duty. The area hosts a wide range of businesses. For me, it was in a walking distance from the office.

If you are not there for business, there's really not much to see in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant options in the area are subpar. If you are a planning a vacation without renting a car, you might consider choosing an area closer to the ocean.

Location was convenient and breakfast was nice

1 Ants in the kitchenette 2 $10 parking? Really?? I wouldn’t think twice about it if this was in NYC or downtown in any major city .. here it is just a money grab as there is NO ONE coming to this location depending on mass transit/Uber .. this item alone will make me think twice about booking here again .. I have stayed in other nearby hotels that did not charge for parking

Good standard breakfast, varies with omelet, bacon or links, muffins and bagels, toast, oats and cereals, OJ, coffee, hot choc and teas. Well situated with stores nearby, and further down the road. Plenty of parking available.

Our Queen bed was higher in the middle and sloped down towards the sides on the bed. This was not enough to disturb our sleep, but a bit offputting.

The people at the front desk were hospitable and friendly. Skip and Michelle have great customer service! The staff were very kind. I liked the breakfast. I like the outside games and landscaping. Kitchen with stove & fridge is a plus! Great location with a shopping mall very close, walking distance.

The TV didn't have access to on line, but it wasn't major. It would just be nice to have.

Great suites, good size and fully equipped for everything we needed. Extremely comfortable beds and big fluffy towels! Having a gym was a great bonus. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Not a criticism as breakfast was perfectly adequate, however better selection of fresh fruit and cereals could be an enhancement.

Staff was kind and helpful. Skip, Michelle, and Miranda were hospitable. The breakfast is good. I liked the kitchen in the room. I enjoyed cooking.

One of the outside doors wouldn't work at times, but they fixed it.

I thought the room was a great value and we loved all the amenities. However, there were little bugs in the kitchen area that were persistent so we had to make sure food was put away. It was not appealing. Otherwise, the room was GREAT.

I enjoyed my 13 nights at Sonesta ES Suites, Sorrento. Pros: Spacious studio room with very comfortable Queen bed, 4 plush pillows, full kitchen with large, quiet refrigerator. Hide-a-bed which doubled as a comfortable couch. Desk, office chair and fast Wi-Fi, 2 small coffee tables, large TV. My room (#322) looked south, onto palm trees and the pool. A/C worked well and was quiet. Parking ($10/day) offered spaces with morning or afternoon shade. Good hot breakfast, with egg & meat dishes, sometimes potato pancakes or sautéed vegetables. Fruit (usually bananas, oranges and apples). Oatmeal and toppings. Sweet pastries, breakfast cereals, yogurt. Decaf and regular coffee. 2% milk. 30 ft long heated pool, open 08-22h, in which I swam laps. I liked the staff, who were friendly and efficient. Owing to my low energy level caused by my liver problem, they let me check out 7 days early on only 12 hr notice, without penalty. The hotel was good value, with luxurious accommodation. It was as good as the Residence Inn (Marriot) in Sorrento and the Homewood Suites (Hilton) in Carlsbad, where my wife and I stayed in Feb/March this year.

Cons: Out front (N. side) was a carwash which seemed busy 7 days/week. The vacuum cleaners were quite noisy, so N. facing rooms would not have suited me. For several days I could hear the guests stomping around in the room above mine.
