Everything was good and well organised and up to standard for a business visit. Just few minor issues but nothing major. See below.

I can't understand why I should pay for wi-fi. I can't register to the Marriot bonvoy network for some reasons. It's 2024 internet is an essential service, please don't make it more difficult. Breakfast was included in this booking but staff was not clear on what kind of breakfast I was and in which room I should get it. I always got a different answer every time...but at least I managed to get the breakfast every morning. Bit of a comedy.

Upon checking in, I had been told that guests were allowed to request water at the front desk, and so I asked the front desk for bottled water the next day. However, the person at the front desk, Chelsea, claimed that we were not allowed to receive bottled water by request and went about the whole situation very condescendingly and with minimal explanation or room for questioning. Her rude attitude and refusal to give us bottled water as promised upon check in made parts of my day unsatisfactory and at times, inconvenient.

Service was wonderful. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.

I had room 317 and the shower needs some repair. There was only scalding hot or freezing cold water. I couldn’t get anything in between so I ended up taking a cold shower in the morning. Also there wasn’t any streaming services on the TV. Most hotels these days offer at least Netflix (ie; Marriott’s Springhill Suites) but there wasn’t anything available other basic TV channels at this location.

Location was great, close to our daughter, very quiet despite being in a busy area of the city.

Room was a bit on the small side compared to some of the other places with have stayed for the price, barely enough room on the left side of the bed to exit comfortably in the king room. No patio furniture on the patio.

Location was great! Amenities were well appointed and clean.

Rates were extremely high, and the menu and food in the restaurant were limited and just ok.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

The sheer curtains were of two different designs giving the room a haphazard look, like they didn't care to even match curtains. More importantly, only one plug next to the bed worked, and the telephone button to call the front desk wasn't operational. I used my cell to call down.

Delicious food. Pleasant outdoor patio for dinner, and great breakfasts. Helpful staff. Location was very convenient for UC San Diego. Close to trolley station and UTC mall.

Nothing really. It was an emergency that we needed a place near our family in that area. We had a death of a dear family member. The price was a bit higher than we would have liked. We will be back God willing. Thanks for accommodating us.

The staff was amazing! Especially the valet , this younger lady was great . My wife needed something out of our vehicle and she insisted to get it out for us after we said we would. She sprinted to our vehicle, yes sprinted!! That was just one great moment we had with staff .
