Everything from check-in to check out was good. rooms are really good and well kept. choose one Breakfast options from the menu was a bit irritant, there should be mix and match option.

On the website at booking.com its written 'wifi in all areas', which one can assumed is free, though free word is not written. you should write clearly that wifi is chargeable/free. We didn't notice that and logged in and after seeing there is a charge of 10 $ per day within a minute we logged-out and have informed reception about the same and asked them to not to charge as we didn't used wifi but have been charged for 3 days that also was a bad experience.

Very friendly staff, rooms of a good size, lively bar with great happy hour food, free tea and coffee 24/7, excellent breakfast options, well equipped gym.

Nothing to report.

The hotel is a little gem. It is close to Union square and is in a good location for getting around the city. The hotel was clean and well presented. Our room was spacious and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had breakfast included in our price and I would definitely recommend it, as there was plenty to choose from off the menu and it was all delicious. It would have been very expensive if we had to pay separately for it.

Is not the hotel’s fault, but it is just on the edge of the Tenderloin area where the homeless are and so it’s not nice if you go out from the hotel in the wrong direction. I didn’t feel scared, but it’s shocking to see so many people in such a sad situation.

The staff are exceptional, very kind and thoughtful. In particular Tuan and Chris at the front desk. They make sure you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. The bed was very comfy and the facilities were good quality - including a fully equipped gym (albeit small, it has everything you need). The hotel restaurant and bar provide exceptional food. The location is very central.

There was nothing that I did not like about my stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only thing I would mention is that the hotel is located near the Tenderloin neighbourhood, which is known for its homeless community and drug abuse problems. This should not be a reason to not visit the city, as San Francisco is great. It's just something to be aware of so you don't have any nasty surprises before you get there.

Hotel Adagio is exceptional. It is a lovely property with comfortable and stylish rooms, outstanding service, thoughtful amenities, and on-site meals that are both tasty and unmatched on price (factoring in the unique breakfast package and lunch/dinner coupons). I stayed there for a week and had a wonderful experience! Each day, I tasted something new and delicious from the made-to-order menu options. The staff were all friendly and professional, each one committed to helping customers enjoy their stay. There were so many details Hotel Adagio covered in selecting unique amenities that truly distinguish it from the competition: bottled water, glasses of champagne, cable car tickets, branded water bottles, an unrivaled breakfast package, and meal incentives. The refrigerator I requested had already been delivered to my room as promised. The hotel is also conveniently located and walkable to everywhere I needed to go. I'm so glad I stayed here instead of one of my big-name conference hotels, which would have offered less while costing more.

The only thing that would have made my stay a tiny bit better would have been a microwave or coffee station in the room. But, these are both freely available in the lobby--which is a more environmentally-friendly setup-- and these are very minor points compared to everything else the hotel offers.

Wonderful front office lady Sasha, so polite and efficient, so are all gentleman. What a first impression ! excellent location, in the center of San Francisco, 2 minutes walk to the tram line and union square. 20 min walk to Embarcadero and ferry terminal. Wonderful bright room. The hotel building is very beautiful too.The hotel restaurant is excellent, food fresh and delicious. The breakfast is wonderful too. Do not miss the avocado with poached eggs. Coffee offered always available at the lobby . Overall an excellent stay!!

The room where the breakfast is served is small, dark and depressing at the back side of the hotel. So, it was a beautiful sunny day, but we were forced to eat our breakfast in this depressing space. . There was a sliding door that opened to a nice big room, the breakfast people refused to open it, and did not allow us to sit there although there was nobody, it was adjacent, literally 3 meters away. The breakfast people not very happy either. It was like we were punished for something, it was a big contrast with all the other wonderful hotel areas,so was the behaviour of the people serving there. They obviously wanted us to finish and go away.

The room size for SF is excellent, because it is an older building. The room was tastefully done, with beautiful lamps. The staff was very prompt and kind. There's free filter coffee through the day and there is a lot of space in the lobby to hang around and do your work if needed.

They do not have buffet breakfast and you have to oder a-la-carte, there's usually a queue to be seated. May be they could invest in that. Also they didn't have an expresso machine in the hotel, which I think they must add immediately.

Staff were absolutely amazing! They offered us a complimentary glass of champagne upon check in (and daily during our stay), complimentary water bottles, daily dining credit, complimentary cable car rides, and more! I let them know that we were celebrating my birthday and anniversary that weekend, so they put us on a high floor with a great window view! They were very responsive and fast when we needed anything fridge and ice brought to our room. Will definitely stay here again, hospitality and service were outstanding!

Parking/valet at the hotel was very expensive. Ended up parking at a nearby garage which was a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Wish there were more affordable options for guests.
