Room and acommodations were very clean and comfortable. The suite was perfect for our family visit to SF. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious in the adjoining hotel restaurant...Bota Tapas & Paella Bar. Located across from Theaters on Geary Street, many other sites are in walking distance: Union Square, the Warfield Theater, Cable Cars, Grace Cathedral...and beyond!

Walking down some of the adjacent streets felt sketchy. No fault of the hotel.

The staff was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the room was warm & water pressure in the shower was good. Love that there was shower gel in the bathroom, an iron & ironing board, as well as a safe & mini fridge.

The room could have used with a paint job in some spots, the TV didn’t work & one of the pieces of wood comprising the pseudo cabinet underneath the sink fell off, so I had to put it back on.

This was the 3rd time I stayed at the Warwick. I was in town due to the death of my brother. So it was nice to be remembered. And the attached restaurant was excellent!

I knew I had to return in two weeks for the funeral and I asked to book reservations for myself and my daughter to return. I asked for help in applying for membership in the loyalty program. Someone at the desk was to help me, but when I returned, they were not present. And the new person didn't know how. I called when I got back home and reservations helped me sign up for membership. But instead of putting 2 guests on the new reservation, it showed just one. I have called now 3 times to rectify this error but have not gotten an email confirmation.

Nestor on the front desk was exceptional.

It was a struggle to make the coffee machine work in our room

The hotel looked great inside and out. The location was perfect, we were about 15 minute walk (at most) to everything we wanted to do or to get to the trolly and Bart station. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I wish the windows could crack open just a little. We wanted to let in some of the bay breeze, especially after we returned to the room later in the afternoon: when the sun shines through all day the room gets very muggy with no good ventilation. Had to crack the room door to let in some air. There is a wishy washy next door. Not saying that's a bad thing, I just didn't like that my wife wouldn't let me go in. Also, walking back to the hotel intoxicated is very tough because there is actual human shit on most street corners.

It is right across the street from the Curran theater. Overnight valet parking for a better price than parking yourself in nearby garages. It is a beautiful older but renovated building. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Bargain rates. Attached restaurant open for breakfast was delicious. Great restaurants close by.

Street noise was an issue at bedtime it calmed down by most people’s bedtimes though. We go to bed early. Also we were on the second floor had we been on a higher floor it might not have been an issue. I had read in other reviews that the bathrooms were dank. I thought the bath was great! Lots of room in the vanity to store personal toiletries and the hot water was instantly there when you turned the faucet on. New toilet.

I LOVED the location! Union square is right down the street and so many food options. The staff was excellent! Super friendly and made sure I had anything I needed during my stay, to the employee who checked me in, you’re doing amazing! The room was super cute, a bit small but VERY comfortable. There was an adjustable light setting which I loved, the bathroom was very clean, towels smelled fresh, carpet didn’t feel dirty at all. The wardrobe is a very nice touch btw (: Was fairly quiet, I didn’t hear much while in my room. Will be staying here again(:

The only thing is you can’t let yourself into the building with just a key card like anywhere else. I get it, downtown is a hard place to be sometimes but I feel like that would be so much easier than having to wait for staff to unlock the door

Over from the UK and found the Warwick at a really reasonable price for 3 of us, we had a room with a bedroom and a living toom with sofa bed, so it was perfect for us. Some reviews paint a grim picture of the area, but we never felt unsafe at any point, we used uber to get back later at night after dark. The hotel itself is great, the staff were lovely, our room was great and as a nice touch they give you a glass of wine as a guest every day. The hotel is just off Union Square, and it's a 10-minute stroll to the Powell BART station. so easy for SFO airport, and there's also a cable car that goes to fisherman's wharf from Powell. We would stay again if in San Francisco

The location of the hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. Especially Çiğdem and Angelina helped me a lot. It was a good accommodation

Wow! The staff is SO helpful- late night, morning, anybody working was pleasant and had a smile. The room was BEAUTIFUL. It is difficult to find a balance between a historical building and cleanliness/updated facilities. The Warwick did this and more. I loved the colors, the furniture, photos and a beautiful fireplace. We were on a high floor over the street. We were able to listen to the city and as soon as the slider was closed, it was the quietest spot I have stayed in SF.

I wish we'd stayed another night!
