It was exactly as expected, maybe a notch above what I was expecting. The location was ideal, the neighborhood was safe and comfortable for a single female traveler.

First room was big but really run down. Toilet did not flush, walls was awful they offer me shared bath, but I insisted with room with separate bathroom. They gave me a bit better but smaller room later that evening. Had to wait for ~4 hours and i took a nap then move. Clean sheet and clean bathroom.

Really Old hotel. Little investment like painting the walls in the room every quarter of century (25 years) could help a lot. Staff was there when I needed. Neighborhood is on edge. One street gets you to pandemonium of Zombieland other to down town.

The location is perfect, there are no homeless people around the hotel. You can safely walk to the hotel from Powell Metro Station. Breakfast is simple but enough to start the day. The bathroom is satisfied. The free wi-fi connection works smoothly.

The hotel needed renovation. The room was small. The elevator was very old.

The location is great. It is close to all kinds of restaurants and public transportation .The hotel was much better that I expected for the price. Though my room smaller. It was clean and comfortable. It had all the basic necessities needed. My only issue is ROKU tv. I do not like the system and can't get it work as I think it should. But it is tv. When on vacation, I'm not there to watch tv. If I was go back to San. Fran. I certainly would stay there again.

Roku tv. They offer a very basic breakfast. I think they should have a little more selection. It is free !

I liked everything about this hotel.

The Indian staff Gotham (i think i got his name right) was very polite and accommodating, he deserves a 5 stars. The hotel is dated but liveable, thing i can suggest is that they can remove the wooden cabinets to make space for the luggage especially if the visitors are from international flights. The bread coffee and fruits during breakfast are acceptable, but i hope they can add at least boiled eggs.

Not enough space for luggage and the shampoo conditioner and body wash were not refilled.

Great location. Elevator. Room 608 was spacious with main window to the quiet alley and additional window in the bathroom, therefore very airy. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. Nice shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Basically no internet for my entire 1week stay. There is WiFi, but it's so slow that not even normal websites would load. Therefore all the streaming functionalities of the Room-TV don't work either (but there is still Cable-TV). According to other reviews this is an ongoing issue being ignored by Management, and not only on the 6th floor. Cell phone reception was fine though, so just plan ahead and add enough data.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of San Francisco This hotel was exactly what we needed for our week in San Francisco – clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Look I travel as cheaply as possible. The bedding in my room was exceptional. Crisp white sheets. I slept in that wonderful bed for seven nights. I ate the humble breakfast, filling but not oily and sugary. They offered apples and oranges. I took four and had them later when I walked and explored SanFran

The bath tub was slippery but it was squeaky clean and had a narrow base. That’s a nothing and stupid complaint.
