The Greeting crew are fantastic Especially ( Norvin ) He remembered both my wife and my name's from the last visit over 2 years ago, We booked a room with a view, But the view was building tops So Norvin arranged it and moved us from the 8th floor to the 15th floor which had a fantastic view, They always go above and beyond... Great location, Great food, Great employees, Great rooms, Hands down a Great place to stay ... We be back ... Thank you JW Marriott Greg and Cindy Moe

Not much, Only thing was Ice machine was on 3rd floor but other than that ... It's all good

Location was exceptional- right in the heart of town, close to the cable car, union square shops, restaurants and cafes Valet team were very helpful and friendly Reception team were all lovely, friendly, warm, helpful and suggested so many local things (restaurants, how to get around, provided us with a map etc) Restaurant in the hotel was really good, and Corzetti, one block away was fantastic for dinner Comfy room, well sound proofed from the noisy streets, lovely decor and lovely spacious room Humongous shower and bathroom which was very comfy! Gym and restaurant were both really good too

Very dusty in the rooms- unfortunately my partner had one of the worst allergic reactions to our room and he’s not usually allergic! Visible dust and dust mites on the mirror behind the bed and also in the gym on the equipment. Assuming on the carpet too Very thin pillows which isn’t our vibe unfortunately Shower pressure was lovely but the hot water soon becomes luke warm after a few mins and doesn’t go any hotter

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with identifying attractions that my family might enjoy. They also did a great job of explaining the amenities available at the hotel. Location was perfect to access all of our trip destinations.

The price of breakfast was not worth it. Parking is only accessible through valet services. Nothing else to gripe about. Unless you plan on using all the amenities, it may or may not be in your interest.

Extremely professional staff, beautiful facilities, very comfortable rooms. Restaurant food at lunch and dinner were exceptional.

Unpleasant unexpected surprise that there is no breakfast buffet at this location, nor concierge Lounge for frequent guests. À la carte breakfast from the menu in the restaurant was preposterously overpriced, and included cold potatoes and toast so cold every morning that the soft butter would not even melt.

Location is very good, 1 block from union square, very close to market street and the street car main stop,walkable to chinatown. The Hotel inside is beautiful, Room is VERY spacious, gets cleaned everyday. Coffee maker is really good, pods gots refilled everyday as well as water bottles. Hotel Staff is all ver nice and friendly, no complain about anybody. You get $25 voucher to use everyday on room service or restaurant, free dessert everyday from 7-9pm, also got 2 free tickets to use on street car!! Awesome Hotel, if I ever go back To SF , will definitely book here. Thank you JW Marriot

The fee you have to pay per day plus tax which is non refundable, and the $150 per day that they put on hold on your card which is never mentioned when you book, I think it should be mentioned so you are prepared for it. SF has TOO MANY HOMELESS PEOPLE, so be prepared, nothing the hotel can do about it

The hotel facilities and location was good.

The hotel charge car parking at a very high rate of $79 per night for in-house guests. This is absurd. I can still accept a reasonable amount for parking, but charging the same rate as for an outsider is absurd.

The room was spacious enough. The queen beds were very comfortable. The shower was great and the bathroom was very spacious as well. The location of the hotel in Union Square was excellent. The hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, and local transportation.

The toilet area did not have a door for privacy. There was no trash can in the room just in the bathroom. Would have liked to have a full room service menu in the room itself.

Big and clean room with lovely facilities. Location was great and staff very helpful.

A couple of mornings the breakfast was very slow service and we had to walk out and get Starbucks because we had bookings to get to despite having left ample time for breakfast.

Breakfast well prepared but a bit pricey…

Extra $30 per day mandatory charge which could be applied to in-house items we might not otherwise use. Did make us eat more meals in the hotel to use up $30/day credit so we didn’t lose it.

Friendly staff. Good location. Beautiful views from rooms on higher floors. Free water bottles.

Needs a renovation (obsolete inventory and building). Breakfast was quite pricey. Rooms could have been cleaned better (I found some hair in the bathroom).
