Great location but incredibly quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. The small buffet breakfast good and sufficient to start your day. Good care was taken of our luggage after check out until we departed to the airport. Our room was lovely, with a separate sitting area. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained.

There is a 20 dollar additional charge per day which we only knew about just before arrival. This is to cover amenities, including the breakfast. However, there are no facilties for making hot drinks in the room other than coffee. For a small hotel it's appreciated providing individual facilties may be difficult but tea and milk etc could be left on the buffet bar during the day for guests. It would make more sense to give a total price for the stay, which is the norm, and not add on fees for facilties one would expect.

Our room was spacious, well appointed, and the shower was easy to get in and out of. We loved having ceiling fans, something we have at home but have not seen in hotels on our travels. Also, our bed was super comfy. The location was fantastic..so close to Union Square.

I loved everything but one suggestion I'd make...I'd like to see a few small tables and some dining chairs in the breakfast room. As it is now with a sofa and a couple of armchairs, it's different for more than four people to use the space. Also, it would be nice to have cereal as an option included at breakfast.

The staff was great - super helpful at the time of checkin and very thoughtful. Breakfast was okay- but there wasn’t much of a seating area once you got it. The hotel itself was a little hidden gem, we didn’t even spot it the first time we drove down the street. It looked like it would be tiny, but turned out to be really great.

It would have been nice to have a space to eat the breakfast, although there were sitting rooms on the other floors. We didn’t manage to get an early check-in, but the luggage hold felt super secure.

When I discovered this hotel on Booking.com, I had no idea how lucky I was to find it. I chose it because the hotel photos looked charming, the price was economical, the reviews were great, and the location convenient. What I didn't expect was the incredible service we experienced from the staff! Each time we walked into the hotel, we were welcomed by caring, friendly, and helpful team members like David, Ariel, Jacara, and Abdullah. It was my birthday, and they were so kind as to upgrade our room to a suite! When we entered, the rooms were beautifully decorated with a bottle of wine chilling and a plate of chocolates waiting! Even though the suite was spacious, it still had a cozy feel. Plus, it was extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, and really quite lovely! We look forward to staying again at The Inn at Union Square on our next trip to San Francisco!

Our stay was amazing! I have seldom seen a place where every single person was so extraordinary forthcoming, helpful and kind. We have been given an upgrade and a quiet room, which made our stay even more precious. At every floor you have the possibility to sit and chill and the breakfast is great. It is being filled up constantly and is tasteful and offers variety. Special thanks to Carlos & Jorge especially :) The location could not been more better, you are at Union Square! And around the corner is a car rental place.

Near Union Square, Powell station and the cable cars, that's great! Very cosy, clean and cool hotel Great restaurants nearby Angela, Vivian, Danielle and George are the best!! There's coffee, tea and pastries every morning; we pay for it in amenities fees, but it is great to have it

The WIFI connection; the hotel security certificate was expired so my phone would not let me in... (I could connect to the wifi of the hotel across the street!! ;-)) The staff was trying to help, especially Vivian, but it was the week-end... They overcame the problem on Monday night but I was leaving on Tuesday Anyhow they were very nice and tried to do their best, except for Scott the manager who litterally shouted at me and he was very rude

It was a nice big room with everything we needed. It was very clean and quite (we didn't here other people but a bit of the city noise). Nice people at the reception. Free water from a dispenser.

The breakfast was good but there was no big variety with onion bagels, Philadelphia & jam, bananas, apples & oranges, coffee, tea and milk.

Location is amazing, short walk to Union Square and Macys. Close to many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and shopping. I loved our room, it had a good-sized bedroom with large TV and very comfortable, clean bed. We also had a separate lounge room with sofa, coffee table, coffee maker, fridge and another large TV. The bathroom was located between the two rooms. All three areas had very nice decor, and very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, day and night, no noise of any kind. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They made check-in and check-out very easy. Also love the 11am check out time. We were able to leave our luggage with them as we were departing at 2pm.

No view from windows except the brick wall of the neighbouring building. This fact did NOT bother me but it maybe something other travellers would dislike. I was quite happy knowing that I could not see anyone, and no-one could see me, making me feel very relaxed and comfortable.

Best central location without being exposed to too much city noise. Friendly and helpful staff, trying to help you any way they can. Clean rooms and I liked especially the heat lamp in front of the shower… sometimes it’s the simple things. 😊

Window was looking straight at a wall. But it didn’t really matter as I paid little and was not needing a view and there was sufficient light by day.

The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and accommodated us with a later check out and luggage storage, etc. Can’t imagine a way in which they could have been more helpful or kind. The room was so comfortable! Great to have the coffee bar! I don’t think we found the area with a more substantial breakfast but we really enjoyed the coffee and bagels / treats every morning!
