Very good city centre location. Nice, spacious room with extremely comfortable bed, couch, desk, fridge, microwave and coffee machine! Very nice bathroom as well.

No breakfast at the hotel. But location means you can easily find something nice nearby, so it's fine.

This is a super location. We walked from BART station. The price was remarkable for the size of room and quality of fittings. Good traditional American Diner one block south. I would stay at the Donatello again.

There are people on the streets but they did not cause us any problems.

I would really have to be extra picky to find anything negative about the hotel or my stay. The room was beautiful, large, and perfectly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything I needed during my stay. Bed was great, and the towels were large and very soft. Everyone was very responsive and professional to any needs.

Again, I am being extremely picky here, but really, no complaints. Just some things to be aware of. The site advertised blue ray players in the room, which were not available. I always travel with my own, so no problem. The bathrobes offered will not fit a 240 lb man. The shower head adjustment was a little goofy, but we made it work. Also, this is no reflection on the hotel, but note to any travelers who are unfamiliar with San Francisco... if you wish to walk around the area, as i always love to do, taking a right from the park next to the hotel leads you right into the tenderloin district, so venture the opposite direction for your own comfort.

The hotel was very beautiful! The room was clean and the view was very nice. The sauna and the jacuzzi were a nice touch. The experience was very elegant yet comfortable. We scheduled a couples massage which was very relaxing! The ladies were super nice and clean. The location was walking distance from many restaurants and the Union Square mall which was lovely.

I wish there was an option for non-valet parking and perhaps a pool table in the game room. I also did not bring cables or a Chromecast to connect my phone to the TV, so we were stuck with cable.

Such a cute and nice hotel. I came here with my daughter 2 times when she was 3. This Third time she is 6! And just as great. The rooms are always so clean and comfortable. Most rooms come with a couch too, as well as a fridge and microwave. All things not very common at other hotels without extra charge. The jacuzzi was fun! Small and inside, but we got it at a time with no people. The complimentary coffee and tea were wonderful! Along with the lounge which you can eat, hangout, drink coffee and tea inside or out on the rooftop balcony. Im a barista, and the drip coffee was actually SO good! The staff is always SWEET and amazing! The parking is the best deal and the bellmen are incredible. And they had a cute photo op background!! Big thanks to Joe the bellman for becoming friends with my 6 year old. She loved playing with you while we waited. Thank you!

Spacious well-appointed room with comfortable bed, comfortable couch and coffee table with plenty of room to move around. Friendly and helpful staff when we asked about restaurants. We LOVED the club level that was beautiful and spacious with comfortable sitting areas for reading and relaxing. And we took advantage of the lovey jacuzzi. We also felt the location was perfect, allowing us to walk all over the city to MOMA, China Town, restaurants, etc. Overall, our stay was perfect.

I can't think of anything right now.

Great location 1 minute from Union Square and a cable car stop. Heading into the city from the airport it’s just a 10 minute walk from the BART station. Room was large and comfortable. Club room on 14th floor with complimentary tea and coffee was great to relax in after a day trekking around the city. Every member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful.

Its a little noisy even on upper floors but not overly bad. It’s not an issue but 2 blocks in the opposite direction to Union Square you arrive at the Tenderloin area.

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also large and the shower good. The WiFi worked well. Although the location is in an area with some homelessness, it didn't feel unsafe and was convenient for the BART from the airport and a good selection of restaurants.

We found the heating in the room rather inconvenient. We were warned it would take about 20 minutes to change temperature after we turned it up but it was in fact several hours. This meant we went to bed cold and woke up halfway through the night far too hot! The hotel only has two lifts, one of which was out of order during our stay, so we had several long waits. We were on the 11th floor so using stairs wasn't an option.

Great value for such a prime location. A couple of minute walk from Union Square, so handy to pop back to if needed. The room was large, and the bed was so comfy, with lovely quality sheets. They were perfect to just fall into after a long day out and about. We sat on the roof terrace with a coffee, which was nice. The porters were also friendly and lovely. They ordered us a cab and chatted to us while we waited.

We could not find any details of the restaurant menu on the website, which was strange. We went anyway and was seated in a cold, empty room. The food was pleasant, but we rushed it and left as it was so cold and quiet. As we left, I noticed a pianist playing in another empty room.....I don't know why we weren't offered a table there. It all seemed very disjointed with no care for the diner, which is a shame. We would have happily stayed for a few more drinks otherwise. I like to use hotel restaurants after a long day sightseeing. Sometimes you're too tired to go out again, and it's nice to have a meal, a few drinks, and just shuffling to bed, lol.

Near the Union Square and Moscone center but relatively quiet. The room was spacious and all my needs were met.

Neighborhood is poor and construction nearby.
