All the staff we encountered were very friendly and kind. The hotel was so clean, our room was immaculate. The free breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. I was surprised at the multiple options available.

No free parking. That is it. It's making me write more than one sentence.

Love the luxury of a hotel w the convenience of an Airbnb

Restaurants and stores are several blocks away, you need an Uber if you don’t have a car but they charge too much to keep your car at the facility.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained.

The parking fee is extremely high!

The hotel is in the city center, near City Hall, and within walking distance of restaurants and historic buildings. Everything about the hotel was inviting and comfortable. Our room was spacious with a nice sitting area and a full kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Real scrambled eggs, not powdered, and the hash brown patties were crispy without being greasy. The hotel is well insulated so we didn't hear any street noises on the 7th floor. The staff was gracious and welcoming. We have stayed at several hotels in Oakland, and this one will be our "go to" hotel for future trips.

It would be perfect if there was a parking garage. It's valet parking only, and with tax that was $60 per night.

Property was clean and modern and felt secure. Bed was comfortable.

We were booking a room for three people and this room popped up as recommended for our group. It had one queen bed and one sofa, so I assumed that meant the sofa was a sofa bed. When we checked into the room I found that the sofa was a small loveseat with no fold-out bed in it. If you placed the ottoman at the end of the loveseat, it was just long enough for an adult to lie down on it. And no bedding had been provided for someone to make this sofa up as a bed even though they knew we had a third person. Bedding was provided when we asked for it. I thought it was strange that this room had been suggested for three people, since it was clearly not set up for three. It was extremely uncomfortable for our third traveler.

The night & evening staff was excellent The valet parking staff..excellent got your bags open your door.. The bartender Joey was excellent interact with customer was the best ever kind..funny. help with direction..very knowledgeable about the area..The chef food was outstanding prices of drinks and food very reasonable 👌 😀. Housekeeper outstanding..Room was cleaned. bed comfortable..

The young lady on Friday evening 10/11 & Saturday Morning 10/12 rude not welcoming.

I love how the breakfast buffet quality was good! Comfortable suites you get everything you need to cook up a whole hot meal. Utensils were complete. Spacious suite and comfortable bed and linens. Pet friendly! $100 extra I was able to bring my best buddy with me.

The parking is very expensive daily. I wanted to pay for valet to keep my vehicle safe since Oakland is one of the top cities in the United States for car break-ins. 50 dollars daily plus tax extra 10 so $60 dollars is a huge dent in the pockets.

I cannot wait to return for a much longer stay. Your front desk/Welcoming team are supurb. I wanted to go roaming around the area for places to eat and the gentleman at the door was kind enough to suggest local favorites and provide directions. Everyone made me feel so secure and welcomed. The room itself was huge! I took pictures to show friends and family. Okay, I'll stop gushing. But honestly why would anyone stay anywhere else when they have this gem?

I didn't like that I could only stay one night.

The staff are amazing and the studio was new,clean and very comfortable. Worked from there for the week, internet reliable and comfortable chair and desk.

The marketplace lacked choice for people with allergies and the bar closes pretty early so would be good if you could buy wine at the marketplace. Location is surrounded by areas that are not so safe - I came in at 9.30pm on a Saturday, asked about local convenience stores because of the lack of choice at the marketplace and the front desk said it’s not a safe area to walk to the convenience store.
