I loved the jet spa, the jack n Jill bathroom so my partner and I can both brush our teeth without spitting on each other accidentally and how they finally put mini fridges in the rooms!

The closet kept opening randomly and scaring us but we figured it’s cuz it’s old, beds were stiff but I still slept like a baby and the pricing is a bit much for an older hotel but the experience is worth it. When my partner and I were laughing at a show, a rude neighbor kept banging on the wall and this was before 9 pm so I didn’t think it was an issue to have fun before that time.

This historic property is beautiful with a lot of character. Built in 1915 it's history shows in the huge fireplace, beautiful woodwork, and design of the interior spaces. Apparently the property was neglected in the past, and has been restored by the current owners. The restaurant and bar received a recent remodel and is very nice. Our king room was spacious and well equipped, and had a modern, and very quiet, mini-split air conditioner. There were a few things that could have been upgraded and improved, such as the bathroom and the old, orginal, window. But the room was comfortable, we slept well, and very clean. And it a bargain. We will be back, and already have friends booking a stay on our recommendation.

Fixtures, floor, and shower surround need to be replaced. They're old and not as nice as the rest of the room.

The hotel staff was very nice. I had made a request to have a downstairs room because we were bringing our bikes with us. They were not able to give us a downstairs room, but did allow us to store our bikes in the event center that was not being used that weekend. That was super helpful to us! The hotel has a lot of character and history and we enjoyed learning about that. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet even when the hotel was full. The air conditioner worked great too. The hotel is located across the street from the old train station, so we enjoyed pedaling the railbikes through the orange groves on the old railroad. We love anything bike oriented.

I think we had one of the older rooms that had not yet been refurbished. The carpet was old and stained and the shower was dismal. Maybe from the 70's? That bathroom was marginal at best. I did glance into some of the other rooms that looked much more updated. And for some reason, the tap water had a metal taste. Very bad! Drink only bottled water there. Also, there is no breakfast offered but an amazing Italian restaurant onsite.

We looked coming down to the lobby and have coffee in front of the fireplace. Your lobby is beautiful.

We know it’s an old building but the bathroom was somewhat poor compared to the rest on the room. The main complaint was the step down from the bathroom to the main room. My husband actually fell in the middle of the night coming out of the bathroom. He is fine and we are not complaining. Other than that we had a lovely time and we will be coming back soon 💕

Had so much fun hearing everyone's ghost tales. My daughter took me here for my birthday we were disappointed we didn't bring anything to try to hunt the ghost but we saw other people doing it and it was really fun watching them. We ate at the restaurant at the Glen tavern inn it was amazing food. Later after dinner we took a walk downtown and found a really cool little cider bar with entertainment. The next day we went on the pedal railroad that was so much fun we had a blast doing that then we went to the art museum and that was also fun. We really didn't know what to expect when we booked this trip but Santa Paula was a great little town and Will we will definitely visit this town again.

The only disappointment would be that we didn't have any paranormal experience in our room so better luck next time.

There is no breakfast service. We had to go to nearby restaurants. Highly recommend Rabalais'. The historic decor and. ambiance is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed a family dinner in the restaurant.

We know that the hotel is old. It has amazing old world charm. However, it would do everyone a great service to upgrade the plumbing - especially the showers.

Quaint best describes our stay. Comfortable and quiet. A little difficult for folks with mobility issues. No elevator! Make sure to book ahead and ask for ground floor if you struggle with stairs.

Plumbing was a bit antiquated. Inexplicable changes in shower temps . Insufficient towels in the room but easily fixed upon request during business hours.

Glen Tavern Inn was a great place to stay. The staff were all very friendly, the restaurant and food were amazing and the little bar had a great Happy Hour. A fun experience

The rooms were nice and big, but our bed in particular was so soft we had very uncomfortable nights sleeping. The mattress folded in when you sat in it so sleeping wasn’t easy. Also our room had a layer of dust on top of all the light fixtures frames and door ways, it could have had a good wipe down

They took great care of us. Very helpful staff. Really cool vibe and decor, especially if you’re into the haunted hotel thing. Great alternative to pricier hotels in Ojai and Ventura if you don’t mind a little drive.

Continental breakfast or breakfast options would be nice, but the free coffee and ice water is appreciated.

We love to stay at old historic hotels, this one built in 1911. They did a beautiful job decorating the lobby for the holidays. Very festive!

Being an old building, the windows in our room were a bit drafty. But the heater compensated. And, our barhroom had a large jacuzzi tub, which looked somewhat corroded. We did not use it. But we still enjoyed our stay!
