it’s convenient to many things in the area. The room was reasonably clean and quiet and smelled ok. Bare bones but adequate.

Your room will not be cleaned unless you ask. housekeeping didn’t always leave the little things like coffee some days, but would respond to requests quickly and cheerfully. one guest would several times a day allow her dog to poop on the grass and leave it, including right under the conveniently provide pet refuse stations. The proffered breakfast was pretty pathetic. oh, and the room keys demagnetize frequently.

The staff was very friendly when arriving in the lobby I got greeted with a smile instantly. The breakfast was exceptionally well prepared and the rates where just as good as initially booked.

The cleanliness of the bathroom the walls had a bit of mold growing in the corner of the ceiling in the shower. The toilet kept running all night and I alerted the staff to this so I hope it gets fixed for the next guest.

This hotel has a refreshing pool, spa, a medium-sized refrigerator/freezer combo and microwave in each room. The hotel is also very pet friendly. It has easy access to both freeways (101 and 126), making it a short drive to any part of Ventura (Pier, Seaward Ave., Downtown) and it's a straight shot down Victoria Ave. to visit Chanel Islands and Mandalay Bay areas. There are convenient side streets around the hotel that quickly get you to gas stations, 24 hr grocery, Starbucks and a variety of fast food restaurants, including Arby's. Target and Walmart are also a short drive away.

The pool was very dirty on the weekdays and my husband had to skim off a layer of tree debri, bugs and even hair two days in a row. Unfortunately, the spa is situated directly beneath eaves on the third floor that are COVERED in mud nests from local birds, upwards of 15 nests, at least. Of course this would be fine on it's own but their massive amount of droppings land directly around and even in the spa. Pretty gross. They also become (and rightly so) protective of their nests and will begin circling the pool/spa area when they feel threatened, increasing the likelihood of flying bird dookie. Maybe next season put up some sort of nest barrier? At least in the area directly above the spa. Thanks!

Breakfast was pretty basic. There was no waffle mix to actually make a waffle in the waffle maker which was the only thing I was interested in eating

Shampoo conditioner in showers. Only given two towels and we were in a rush to get ready so didn’t have time to ask for more. So we all shared two towels while showering. Minimal outlets in the room.

The room was everything I expected it to be. But the beds were a little soft for my liking and you advertised Free Breakfast

The free breakfast consisted of coffee or tea and a paper lunch bag with 2 breakfast bars. Also a fruit cup of peaches and a fruit cup of orange juice. This was at 8:30 AM. We had to find a Denny's for breakfast. There wasn't any information in the room or in the lobby for ordering in local food. The front desk recommended a pizza place but didn't have a number for the place.

The room was spacious, had a very comfortable king size bed, the room was very clean! We also enjoyed the free breakfast offered each morning!

The hotel was right next to the freeway! A lot of traffic noise, but not bad enough to keep us from sleeping!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had problems with our TV. They fixed it. We had problems with her bed they fixed it.

It definitely needed some deep, cleaning the walls and the doors and the bathroom or not that clean it all

Hotel is in a good location, very close to the freeway. The front desk held my room for a late check in, and accommodated my request for a first floor room. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep.

When checking in, a customer was being very rude to your employee who was at the front desk. I was very impressed by how professional he handled the irate customer. He never lost his composure and attempted to meet the customers needs. When it was our turn to check in we mentioned to him that we really appreciated his hard work and professional demeanor. He provided us with excellent service also. Your employee’s name is A.D. we later found out. If la Quinta continues to hire such great employees I will definitely continue to stay at your hotels in the future.

Desk attendance was poor. Checking in and checking out. Took way to long trying to fight out their computer. Over 10 minutes for both and we prepaid a week ago by card.
