We thought the breakfast was a free continental breakfast to which we grabbed only eggs. Anyway, we were informed that that was not the case and we had to pay the $24 for the buffet. There was no one to tell us that beforehand and no sign saying that. A sign would be a good idea nevertheless, the one waitress that was on duty was overwhelmed and the only one working and she still did a phenomenal job. Two things to note for this hotel please have a sign showing that this is a buffet for $24 And don’t do that to your staff. Please get more than one person working. I hope that you can acknowledge her great service because as overwhelmed as she was, she still kept up a smile, and although she was forgetful of a few things, who could blame her being alone with so many people? She still Politely apologized and would rectify whatever was needed. I didn’t get her name, but please check the day that we stayed and we were there at 9 AM.

That there was no sign showing the buffet price and the morning breakfast situation was not organized at all. People did not know where to go or sit or who to ask for help with as there was only one person working for a crowd of about 25 people. In the morning at 10 AM the house cleaning lady just opened our door even though we had a sign saying “do not disturb” as well as she didn’t even give us the heads up of a knock. She just opened up the door. fortunately, my husband had a towel around him. He had just gotten out of the shower. I did let her know that she needs to knock and cannot just open the door, especially when there’s a sign on the door that says “do not disturb“ the hotel needs to make sure the house cleaning staff knows this that’s not acceptable.

Hotel interiors were very attractive, modern/updated and clean. Really liked the pool/garden area - loved the mini waterfalls and koi fish ponds - it was a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing setting. Only had breakfast at the hotel, but the eggs Benedict dish was excellent, the hollandaise was perfect and the dish came with a large side of fresh fruit - the berries were delicious. Rooms were very comfortable, ours was large and had a nice view of the pool area. Bedding was great, and the pillows were a mix of softer and firmer - so both my partner and I got a good nights sleep.

No microwave in the room. coffee at breakfast, in a carafe, was not very hot and nearly undrinkable. waitress could not be located for quite a while after we ordered (10+ minutes) when my partner decided to eat breakfast after all.

I liked the cleanliness and the friendly staff. The bed is so very comfortable and the AC works great and is not noisy.The proximity to the beach and plenty of local restaurants nearby. I liked the lobby and the different seating options. I love the lighting throughout the hotel. Mostly the natural light. The koi pond is cool, and although we didn't use the pool, it looks inviting. The beach is very close and it is a sandy and clean beach. We will be back. Don't hesitate to book here.

Paying for parking!

Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable.

We had a room facing the pool and gardens. If our room had be facing the exterior it would have been entirely different. The exterior view was dull and drab. The toilet tissue dispenser was in a place so awkward we had to remove it. The only employee in the dining room was overtaxed with just a few patrons.

Clean, spacious, comfortable room. The staff was accommodating. The hotel is adjacent to the beach- convenient. Close to old downtown and restaurants. Immediate access to freeways. Many exits located throughout the large facility, outdoors easily accessible to parking.

The facility is pet friendly- however, there wasn’t a designated area outdoors for dogs to relieve themselves.

The entire hotel looked extremely modern and clean. The lobby and rooms were very modern, clean and nice. Beautiful outside courtyard/garden with nice plants, colorful Koi Fish, hangout spot. Pool and hot tub were big and spacious, water was perfect temperature. Shower looked brand new and was very nice. Location was great, right next to the beach. Beds were also very comfortable.

There was no option for a room with breakfast included. For breakfast, you could have only ordered something from the restaurant which was pretty expensive like a $4 small blueberry muffin. The girl at the reception was rather unfriendly and unwelcoming during our check in and check out.

Easy access to and from highway

When we arrived to check in, I was told that our room was not ready at approximately 1530 but then was issued the room anyways, when we entered the room, we noticed that the trashes were not taken out and there was still food in the fridge from the prior guests, also there was a towel left on the counter in the restroom. I do want to say that the staff were extremely nice and courteous.

Very nice entrance & lobby. Bar was excellent with good staff.

Property had some construction going on & parking wasn’t great. Could’ve stocked room with more coffee, creamer & add in’s. Definitely need more than two towels. Room was along way from elevator!

Breakfast on Friday morning was excellent but on Saturday morning apparently there was a buffet and quite a crowd of people. It was difficult to get a table or find a staff member because we were not interested in the buffet. This was our first time staying at the location, and we didn’t know about the different levels available to clients.

Highly recommended! Bed was very comfortable. Love the bath. Everything about the room and its furnishings were nicely laid out, very efficient, plenty of room to sit and watch TV or work on my laptop. Nice L shaped sofa in sitting area. Very clean room and bath. Nicely upgraded to more modern look. Love the walk-in shower. Was surprised how quiet the hotel was despite how full the hotel seemed to be; even the hallways were quiet! Friendly and responsive staff. Unique thing was we were told if we want housekeeping services, we had to call front desk the night before. Thought this was strange. But as it turned out, I preferred this -- used the housekeeping services, only as-needed.

We couldn't figure out how to warm the room with the digital thermostat. Sometimes, the room got too cold and could not get heat going even though we tried to set the digital thermostat to a higher temperature.
