They went out of their way to make it easy for the folks running the local race be able to come back afterwards to clean up before heading home. They put out an early breakfast for us because we had to be at the start line before their breakfast time. Walking distance to the pier, Mission, restaurants. I didn't have to move my car once I parked.

My queen bed was on a metal support, which I kept kicking. Every time I moved in the bed, there was a creepy thrummiing, reminding me of noises in horror movies. It wasn't loud, but it was there.

The free breakfast was great and a huge win! The bed was super comfortable, and the room layout was the best I've experienced in a 2.5-star to 3-star hotel. There is plenty of space to move around the room. The staff was great and really helped when we asked for it.

The wifi didn't work for me after multiple tries and moving around the room, I am currently on my phone's hotspot. The choice of TV channels and the age of the TV left a little to be desired, but we are not big TV watchers.

The breakfast room was kept very clean and fully stocked. I would have liked to see fresh pastries rather than the cellophane wrapped bulk buy type. The hot foods were okay, sausage and some eggs, scrambled one day and mini omelette the next. The waffle was the best part. Cereal,yogurt, juices and milk available .

The accessible room had grab bars in the shower, but it was still a step in tub, not a roll in.

Greeted warmly and professionally, Very happy to accommodate a change of room to upper level,room itself looked like it had just been renovated, Super clean, appear to be all new breakfast utensils, housekeeper grab me as I was leaving to hand me a cable I have forgotten and wish me a pleasant journey what’s not to love. And I was a department manager for Ritz Carlton so I know class

Neighborhood

Hotel was in a great location for exploring the area and free parking appreciated. Room was very spacious.

As we had a ground floor room, the noise of people past the window was distracting. The train honking was very loud (but thankfully didn't do all through the night).

Very clean and spacious room. We love that they’ve gotten rid of carpeting. Great that they allow dogs. Breakfast being included was nice. It was a pretty basic buffet but had plenty of variety.

It was a bit noisy. We could hear people talking in the parking lot and room doors closing were loud and shook the room. Thankfully it quieted down by 11pm.

Good breakfast, many options to choose from. The room was recently rennovated and was clean and neat. Overall, a great value for price. The front desk manager was very accommodating and nice. We had a view of the ocean from our window.

Close to freeway, very noisy when window was open, but surprisingly much quieter when window was closed.

Bigger room than we expected. Very nice bathroom with good quality products. Mattress was very comfortable.

Bedroom floor was very dirty when we arrived. After walking barefoot our feet were black! One of the rooms of our family smelled like cigarette

The staff was really kind and helpful. The hotel room was spotless and very comfy. The included breakfast was great, delicious and generous. It was so close to the pier and the beach!

The pool had a lot of leaves and bugs when we wanted to get in it around 3 pm, but that's normal at that time with the trees next to the pool. Other than that our stay was perfect

I liked the location; very close to downtown Ventura so you could walk to different places to shop and eat. The room was very clean. Very comfortable beds!!

The bedframes are metal so they had a weird "squeak" when you got into/out of them. (Don't think this can be changed.).
