- Very good breakfast (by US standards) with convenient hours. - Good location with an easy walk to a harbor and a beach. - Pretty modern rooms.

- Carpet in my room needed cleaning, and a screen door to the balcony was broken (hard to open / close it). - Wi-Fi doesn't seem to be safe - connection isn't encrypted, as laptop says. - Price was high (though I understand it's a high season).

The breakfast server needs to learn to work. So lazy and not replacing things in a timely manner. Didn’t care about anyone’s concerns. Trash overflowing, empty coffee, empty pancake machine. The front desk clerk had to come help the people. I couldn’t believe how disorganized it was.

The staff. Their accommodating my room change was with ease and Keysha, along with other staff members made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I like the Marina with the nature walk close to property and shopping and the Marina Cafe at the end of Spinaker. I always stay here at the Holiday Inn express in Ventura Ca.

The narrow hallway on the right side building entrance location at some rooms. Mine before a room change was room 138 and the step down into living room area for older people with disabilities would need to watch that step down. . The toilet holder roll was loose. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

The breakfast was good. There were eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, cereal, juice, and some other stuff. The hotel is nice and it's cool that it's at the harbor. Everything was pretty nice.

There was kind of a lot of noise coming from the hallway all night. I heard banging and I kept hearing these clicking sounds while I was trying to sleep. I think it was the automatic lights switching on every time someone would walk down the hallway. The room had a nice thick heavy door which I liked but I still heard a lot of noise.

This Holiday Inn is located directly at the marina. A short 20 minutes walk from the channel island ferry. We stayed here over the weekend with our family. This hotel is the perfect place if you want to take a boat or enjoying the beach nearby. The facilities are like any other decent Holiday Inn but the balcony made it nice.

It was a bit pricey but I guess it’s like this everywhere close to the coastline.

breakfast was really nice and i loved the location of the hotel on the harbor.

I think they only thing i can say is in my room with patio facing away from the harbor i feel like there should have been another table and chair on the inside of room, alot of wasted space to me.

The outside was clean and well maintained. The staff was great and very nice. The harbor view was beautiful and our room was very spacious and beds were comfortable.

There was what appeared to be blood stains on one of the beds bedding. New bedding was brought up for us to remake the bed. After a 12 hour trip, I wasn’t too happy to have to remake an entire bed. When remaking the bed, behind it, there was a fork and an old hospital bracelet from 2020. That’s gross! Housekeeping can do better! When I mentioned it to the front desk, they noted it down and our room was going to be serviced while we were out. When we got back, the items were still behind the bed. Expired yogurt at breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was great.

I love that it was seaside and the fresh breeze was also refreshing within walking distance as well to the harbor and all the wonderful restaurants and sights

I felt like maybe it was difficult with the ocean climate to keep some of the outer areas up to par with the external lounge areas including the balcony in the room but other than that it was exceptional

Parking was convenient and free. Hotel location was excellent for exploring Ventura. Room was clean, well lit, and spacious. A/C unit was quiet and worked well. Bathroom was spacious, well lit, and had walk-in shower with no yucky bathtub. Bed was extremely comfortable; pillows were just right as well. Work desk was spacious, office chair was comfortable. Refrigerator worked well; Keurig coffee machine was nice to have. Overall, comfortable and spacious room with a clean and spacious bathroom. Enjoyed my stay.

Large group of rowdy youths was allowed to congregate in the hotel lobby. Management should have stepped in to control the situation and make the hotel lobby welcoming to incoming guests.

Rooms were very spacious and the whole hotel was clean. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, sheets were comfortable. No complaints with the room at all. Breakfast always also good for a hotel breakfast. Nice location over all. FYI; there is a parking fee that you get charged when checking in.

We were in room 261 which I'd right next to the exit door to the bridge so we kept hearing that door slam shut all late night and early morning which was really disturbing. We wanted to sleep in but when you keep hearing a door slam (and I mean SLAM) it makes it very difficult. You should put a stopper or at least a sign because it stops guest from having a peaceful night and takes away from the stay as a whole.
