They upgraded my room at no charge, it was the one with a full kitchen. Shower was beautiful, room was large, kitchen well stocked, room seemed clean. A family could easily stay there comfortably with two large beds, and a couch that could be a small child's bed.

Had to park in the street around the corner as the lot was full. The walk wasn't long and didn't seem dangerous.

Motel was close to the Ventura Fairgrounds, which was our primary destination for the weekend; close also to downtown. Check-in was smooth and the office manager was great. Room was small but contained all amenities at its price range, with exception of a blow dryer. Bed was comfy; room included fridge, microwave, and a small 1-cup coffee maker; bathroom shower was small but not too small. TV included a variety of channels. We felt safe enough in the neighborhood.

Grout in shower could use good scrubbing and/or replacement - a little shadowy. Soap didn't lather well. Parking lot space is limited and tight, but there is additional street parking available. No place within easy walking distance to run out for a quick morning cup of coffee, but there is a Thai restaurant, small liquor store, and Mexican restaurant directly across the street.

We were driving in from Las Vegas and the property manager called us at 6:30pm to check on us and make sure we were ok and wished us a safe travel. When we arrived he was very warm and welcoming. The room (family suite) was very clean and updated. Would definitely stay again.. don't let the sea water building abuse fool you. Rooms are GREAT!!

The location is the first reason I go to this hotel. The 2nd reason is its very nice because all of the rooms have been updated and they are very clean and comfortable. They are also not expensive and the value meets my needs. The staff is very courteous as well.

The staff might want to suggest to the guests that quiet time is 10 pm. The upstairs guests seem to like to walk around heavily late into the night. And since we requested a ground floor to my condition we could hear disturbance above us.

Very comfortable bed, just right balance between soft and firm. Clean, recently refurbished bathroom with good nicely-tiled shower. Esp like the cove for shampoo, washcloth, etc. Big TV, table and two good chairs in a compact room. Would def stay again.

Limited parking. I was able to maneuver around and back into a tight space in rear, but overall, get there earlier rather than later for parking. Also, I rolled an ankle and fell off the dark green walkway immediately surrounding the building in the pre-dawn darkness. It looked level with black driveway, but it isn't!

A bit of rougher neighborhood where clerk locked the door and used the night window in the late afternoon. Parking was a bit limited, but we found it. Hotel looked like a 1960’s style - think Lorraine Motel in Memphis look. Older outside, vintage look. Inside room was more modern.

Very very clean which was a surprise.

This place was great. Amazingly comfortable bed/mattress and bed. Unassuming property on an active street but once you're in your room it's very peaceful and relaxing. I'd recommend to get a room on the back of you can. Neal (the manager) was great and very attentive. You can't go wrong staying here imo.

Property didn’t look like much from outside but once you got into room it was a whole different story! Very clean, big TV and bed! Microwave, refrigerator, bed very comfortable!

this is a cheerful re-do of an older motel. Nothing fancy, but considerable attention to detail and unexpected little additions such as the artificial flowers in the bathroom.

parking is limited, but on-street is quite acceptable.
