Property is well kept it is right on the beach. as a restaurant and bar on premises and about 150 feet walking distance to Aloha restaurant next-door which is very nice. Also, location is close by many other restaurants shopping and just a few minutes to enter a harbor. Our first room had a problem with some of the electrical outlets so they upgraded us to a suite which was exceptional. I wear a CPAP so it is critical for me to have working outlets next to the bed. They also called us practice for the five days that we were there for the inconvenience of having to move rooms at midnight.

I love the Ambience of my room specially that it's an Ocen View. Its my first time to stay in Ventura Hotel. The room is spotless and comfortable. Room amenities is grear specially in the shower room. Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. Valet Staff is very helpful and efficient.

Only thing im worried is when I used the shower, they used the teared off or broken shower curtain. In the inner side when you took a shower. I am worried that they might blame the guest like me for that. They must not placed a teared off inner curtain in that shower. That's all I have noticed. The rest , it's all good.

Loved the breakfast! Loved the outdoor patio at the Aqua Lounge!

Did not like the traffic noise. Couldn’t use balcony nor leave the door open because it was too noisy.

The best location ever.

The parking situation, it wasn’t clear that I was going to pay, which is fine but the person at the booth was horrible, I understand I might have been the 100th person asking the same question but if at the front desk they are not explaining it clearly, the person at the valet booth got mad cause we pull in that area then how is that my fault, the parking structure is very old and scary, and the cars do not have enough space to park, I had to climb from the passenger seat and obviously the person next to me scratch my door because he wasn’t able to get out.

We stayed here so we would be near Ojai and could visit our friends. We LOVED staying here. This hotel is right on the beach, so we could walk the pier, grab some happy hour food and drinks, and then walk across to the downtown area for a nice dinner. The hotel also has a lobby bar, where we enjoyed chocolate martinis by the outdoor fire and listened to the waves crash. We enjoyed meeting some of the hotel guests, as well. There's a great breakfast spot called Moofish we really enjoyed, too. GREAT strong coffee. They had a pumpkin muffin that was to die for! You can stroll along the ocean and watch the surfers. We paid for parking next door in the garage, which was $18/night, which you'll pay at the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again!

There's a train that rolls through at all hours that can be a bit loud, as well as highway traffic. Otherwise, it checked all our boxes.

The room was extreemly nice! Very clean! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the music at the bar and lunch on the pier and walking around downtown.

We were on the second floor and our sliding doors opened onto a roof. Some guy (maybe another guest?) came running by while I was standing there. Also, didn't really like the view of the roof but it was nice to go out there and see the ocean. So not terribly bad. Next time I'll get a higher floor for a better view.

All staff were friendly. Beachfront location. No rooms are really on the beach, but they have more of a side view. Ours had a great sunset view. Beachfront pool and bar area. Easy walk to quite charming downtown with good shops and restaurants. Clean and updated guest room.

No fault of the hotel, but being so close to the freeway so that you can constantly hear it doesn’t add to a great beach vibe. Easy fix for them—both the American and California flags need replacement ASAP. Maybe an easy fix. Elevators buttons seem to need an extra push or two after scanning the key card. Kind of a pain with hands full. Moderate-ish fix. Carpets near the elevators were quite soiled.

I love the location. They have great coffee and it's available in the lobby every morning. Later it is switched out for ice water. I appreciate being able to fill my water bottle one the way out for the day. We always use the Valet parking. Matt is awesome. Always greets us with a smile and asks how we're doing.

The mattresses are not great. I think it might be time to replace them as both mattresses in our room were way to soft and lumpy. This is my only complaint.

It had been about 8 years since we have stayed at the Crowne Plaza and looks like it has been completely refurbished. Beautiful! We did have to wait about an hour for our room to be ready, but they gave us complimentary drinks at the bar. Wonderful location too! Room was very comfortable and staff great! Also had delicious breakfast at the MooCafe both mornings.

Parking in order to register and unload your car could be a little easier, but once you figure it out when you are not using the valet, it works out.

Location. I have cancer, and needed a getaway that included an ocean veiw. I specifically choose this location. Sadly I did not feel well, and had to wait for an upgrade that I paid for and eventually came. The room was nice.

My original was a non veiw room on the second floor overlooking a parking structure and nothing. It was disappointing. I paid an extra 30 and waited two hours until my new room was available. Checkout is at 11 and I asked for a complimentary 11:30 check out. They could not accommodate.
