room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. free parking on site. The breakfast is served very early, starting at 6 o'clock, which was convenient as we were planning on leaving early (it was still about an hour and 50 min drive to Yosemite). breakfast options were plentiful, I particularly liked the sausages. they offered us to have joint rooms, which we gladly accepted and they unlocked the interlocking doors for us.

the lady at the check in was extremely slow, and the hotel held too much money on my card till we went and pointed out the double charges plus the security deposits.

I went on a road trip to Yosemite and wanted a place to stay that was fairly priced and not too far from the park. My room was spotless, plenty of towels, soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, were all provided. The breakfast bar opens at 6 am which was perfect for me since I was leaving early to get to the park before traffic. The heater worked great and kept me warm all night. There’s a ton of great restaurants within walking distance, too. I plan on making a trip to Yosemite an annual tradition, and so will staying at the Heritage Inn.

Staff was lovely. Room was mostly clean. They honored my request to be on the quiet side of the building - thank you! The breakfast coffee was quite good :)

1. The power went off in the middle of the night, turning off the a.c. It turned back on at 1 a.m., thankfully. 2. The bed kept knocking the plug out of the outlet so the bedside lamp and its outlet would quit. 3. Needs detailed cleaning in the bathroom - for example, the top of the heater. 4. The breakfast was ok, but could use some eggs or other protein choice

I liked everything about the room except the one bed on the east side of the room was not as comfortable as the one on the west side of the room. I liked the shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion provided. I used the refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was excellent. It was always so much to choose from. The clerk was gracious enough to put me in room 318 to have easy access from my car to the room, since I am a senior.

The walls were not very well insulated because I could hear the television and talking from the other rooms. When someone would walk along the outside walkway it was very loud. I had to turn on the heating and air conditioning unit to run the fan on maximum speed to drown out the noise from the rooms next to me and outside. It was not a problem to do that.

There were a couple of sketchy people standing around but it ended up O.K. The property itself was 3 star at most but the services and benefits outweighed any hotel in the area. The staff was incredibly nice. Our room had an extra large hot tub in it. Surprised how big the hot tub was with a full living room included. Let’s talk about the breakfast that was incredible. We did not have cash to tip the lady that ran it and we were short on time. We felt so bad. Tip her please!! She made the best hot buffet breakfast. It was over the top. They have something for everyone at this hotel. There was a pool but we did not need it when we had a small pool of our own in our room. This hotel is one of the closer hotels leading into the Yosemite national park. I would recommend it for an over night stay. Check out mark twains cabin and drive through completely dead western town Jamestown. It really could be great if they’d open that saloon. Nothing was open and there was nothing to do here that I know about but the hotel was a cozy passing through place to stay. I do highly recommend it when on your way to Yosemite.

Some sketchy by passers standing around made it a little uncomfortable …

Older but well-maintained hotel. Multiple story hotel but because it is built on a hill, you can drive up to both the first and second story for easy access and to avoid stairs. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The breakfast included with our room was really quite good with both hot and cold items with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as pastries, cereals, a variety of fruits, yogurts and beverages etc.

The breakfast room was located in an adjacent building and as the hotel is on the side of the hill, the walk was uneven and, on a slant, as you traveled up and down the hill. For those with mobility issues, a drive around in the car might be needed. Otherwise, not a problem.

There wasn't very much breakfast food the first day but plenty the following morning. You should explain the breakfast tickets better though. I loved the location, it allowed us to walk through the town and not move our car.

The staff is really amenable. The room is super clean and full of little convenience items that are not usually found, such as face cleaner. The breakfast was complete and good. It is relatively close to Yosemite, which was my goal.

The noise! The inn is situated on a busy road. There are a lot of trucks passing by on this road, which makes a lot of noise. The rooms have thin walls too. Another point which will bother some people is the light: even with the curtains closed, there is still a lot of light entering the room.

Stayed here to go to Yosemite (an hour away) - supermarkets are near and open till 23:00, comfy beds, clean, good size room, old fashioned but functional, staff were pleasant and brief, things felt well manged, there was a small buffet for breakfast included with take away cups lots of coffee, juice eggs and cereals. overall good stay and i give it a solid 8/10. also the town Sonora was unique looking, make sure to get there early to see (worth it!)

really noise old AC unit popping out of the wall and letting some light in even at night, luckily it wasn't too hot to have to use it all night (would be loud). the room was overlooking a main street and you can hear trucks passing frequently (ear plugs will solve it)
