The staff was nice, and the facilities were clean. I booked here mainly because of location. The facility is obviously older, but the rooms have been kept modern with tile floors and a wash basin style sink. It's not fancy, but perfectly adequate for a night's stay.

There is only one elevator, and my room happened to be as far from it as possible. Also, there was a lack of outlets overall, especially near the bed. It made charging my electronics a bit inconvenient. I'm not a fan of LED lighting in general, and the main light in the room was particularly harsh, but there was other lighting to use.

Price is very good. The location were convenient to the town and to Joshua Tree Park. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Also, we enjoyed the pool, which was a little cool, but hey, it was November! and hot tub was pleasant. It is a good budget value that accepts pets with no pet fee.

Though the bed was clean, the table surfaces had obvious residue from the previous guest, as did the toilet. Not a huge deal, as we easily wiped things down and borrowed the maid’s toilet scrubber. There was a “family” several doors down where the mother was screaming and berating her children. I suspect they were “living” at the motel. I don’t know how the motel could screen for this behavior, but I wish they could.

The first room that was given to us smelled musty and of cigarette smoke (although it was marked out as a non-smokers room). However, upon pointing this out to the receptionist, she immediately moved us to a new room, which was very clean and comfortable!

The first room we were given was not great. It would have been better if it had been checked beforehand - although all rooms are non-smoking rooms, it is clear not all guests keep to that rule. Furthermore, the pillows in both rooms are much taller than usual, and thus not very comfortable. (The beds were great otherwise, though).

The place is a bit further away from the main street where there are shops and restaurants. The accommodation was simple but absolutely sufficient. The bed was nice and comfortable. Lots of space to park. Very close to Joshua Tree NP.

Could be a little bit tidier. For example in the towel compartments, where there was really a lot of dust and clean towels lying in it. Also the hotel staff should be nicer. They practically didn’t speak a single sentence to me, just gave me a card from room and told me the room number.

The first room we had was very uncomfortable because it had a smell of cigarettes and the floor was sticky. We let the staff know and they moved us to a different room and it was much nicer and very clean and more comfortable. The staff was very nice when we arrived.

The room could have used a coffee pot and/or a microwave as the coffee in the lobby was not great. But we were not there for the coffee.

Originally I was a little worried because of the mixed reviews, but this Motel was actually super great value and very decent. Staff was super friendly and we switched rooms based on our request. Also, the location is perfect for visiting Joshua Tree NP. Room was just fine and for the price we paid I was expecting way less, so it exceeded our expectation by a lot.

There were a couple strains on the bed.

Really great location. It is so close to the north entrance to JTNP! My room was clean and comfortable. I would say this is a better-than-average Motel 6. For the price, this is a really excellent place to stay and if I ever return to Joshua Tree, I will stay here again.

Only a couple of minor things: This motel apparently does not have “Do not disturb” signs, so I had to go down to the office to request that housekeeping skip my room. I would have liked for my room to have a microwave. There is one in the lobby though. There was a small but deep mud puddle in the lawn that I accidentally stepped in and sunk down past my ankle :(

Staff was friendly, check in was very quick and parking is free. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is probably no better value for money. I was recommended to stay in this place by my uncle as we went on to hike in Joshua Tree National Park the day after. There also is a swimming pool to use for guests and loads of food options around.

Perfect Location, super nice people, plenty of parking

It seemed like someone had smoked in the room prior to me being there. Not a dealbreaker, but I could smell the faint aroma of cigarette smoke. These things happen. People come back drunk or they’re just jerks and they smoke in the room. I totally get it, Motel 6 can’t control everything.

The staff is awesome. I have booked for another stay and will recommend to my friends for a comfortable budget hotel.

This is an older hotel and some of the facilities show it (the laundry room and ice maker need attention) But because the staff is AWESOME it erases any negatives.
