This Motel is our "Go to" stop-over, when we travel from the San Francisco Bay Area, on our way to Spring Training in Phoenix ... (which includes a side-trip through nearby Joshua Trees National Forest, which is definitely worth a visit). The rooms are clean, large and there is an excellent diner (John's Place) within walking distance (just north of the motel) that serves reasonably priced, hearty breakfasts. Each of the rooms that we have stayed in has had a unique decorative motif. (Check out the website for some of the room-offerings 😊) The staff is extremely nice. And, although some of the room-features are a little old, it did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the front desk manager was very polite and very helpful. I was very happy. They had bottled water for one dollar a bottle and a bottle of Gatorade for only two dollars.

The only problem I had was with the TV settings Have the appropriate remote control to correct them. However, the front desk manager was helpful in getting me the remote control and giving me more specific directions. It would’ve been nice. Had it been set up before my arrival instead of having to troubleshoot it very late at night when I was tired.

the place was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Compared to AirBNB prices I thought to was quite a bargain at $86.

there were 0 negatives to my trip. I was only in town for a concert at Pappy and Harriet's and I needed an affordable and clean place to stay and keep safe for the night rather than drive ~3 each way .

Rooms are very clean, especially the bathroom. We have everything we need (oven, ref, hairdryer etc.. ) Rooms are big and the surroundings are well maintained especially the little flower garden. We will stay here again if we happen to be in this area. We highly recommend this place. just like the name of this place (AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN).

I can imagine that it can get quite warm in the rooms during summer months. At the time of my stay, there was no obvious ACs in the room, but this might get fixed soon. Small windows that couldn't be blocked sometimes made the room quite bright sometimes

Large, clean and really pretty room with sliding door to desert garden area. Owner was SUPER nice and helpful - resourceful and upbeat during a wind event power outage. I felt cared for and safe there. Easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park west entrance and close to all shopping/dining/gas conveniences.

Well, only because you asked - and I wouldn't call it a negative review - the one missing hanging blind panel thingy at the kitchen window. (Not that I was worried about pervs at all. In fact, it was a very private corner room) Perhaps the shower door got slightly off track, but that's way better than a clingy shower curtain any day. Oh, and another tiny shower detail might be that there was no soap dish. Gasp! Ha¡!

Spacious, comfy and clean. Lovely planting around the building. Manager was kind and offered to have coffee ready for us as soon as we wake. Superb customer service.

There was nowhere to hang anything. Unusual for the sink to be outside the bathroom in the bedroom.

I liked the room. It was very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. The way I like it.

I felt that the shower floor was a bit slippery and it made taking a shower a bit of a worry. There wasn't any handles to grip to help with keeping my balance as I have a bad knee currently.

Family road trip through California NPs and coast. 18 days / 9 different places to stay overnight. This one was first. Older equipment but super clean. All good. Close to Joshua Tree NP. We would recommend it. Only one thing we wish to have here: Table and chairs to sit as family for breakfast or games. Definitely nice place to stay.
