Location was prime! The amenities such as the grill, shower, etc. were great. A convenience store is 5 mins away and the town was 20 mins which included a grocery store, shops, Starbucks, etc. The yurt was super cool and super comfy. It also had an a/c unit and heater inside for whatever season you are there. Wish we had more days to stay but 28 Palms Ranch will be the first place that comes to mind when passing through Joshua Tree National Park.

The location, the peacefulness, we had everything we needed! Erin The property manager is amazing and so attentive to these special yurts. The shower was amazing, even being a bit cold out, loved it! She had yummy cofffee and a french press which was amazing!The bed was so so comfy and the heater inside kept it warm and cozy. Having our own bbq and fire pit was so nice! It was all such a real treat! We didn't want to leave! Honestly, the best getaway I've had. I will definitely be making a plan to come back.

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

The property was beautiful and it’s very obvious that Erin wants a luxurious experience for all her guests. Each yurt is spacious and comfortable. The furniture, lighting, and coffee bar inside are perfect. She made sure we had everything we needed (solar lanterns, dinnerware and utensils, blankets, firewood) as we prepared our dinner on the tables outside. Check in and check out were incredibly smooth.

The yurt was clean and comfortable, I also liked all the amenities that came with the yurt ( bbq grill, kitchen tools, and bedding was clean and warm.

I didn’t like that the toilet pump wasn’t working properly. We used the pump as instructed but dirty water kept filling the bowl. Our neighboring yurt had a working toilet and we had to walk in the cold to our friends’ yurt to use their commode.

The fire pit was lovely. The outside shower a delight. The stars great. The Yurt was wonderful. The aircon was excellent.

We left sealed food bags on the floor and the ants moved in. A heads up on this would have been great. But housekeeping fixed the ant issue and reported it to management. Mangement then wanted to move us to a different Yurt but we declined because the issue had been sorted.

The authentic yurt was absolutely breathtaking, and we never had to turn the heater or AC on. Amazing insulation! The sunrise hitting the yurt was unforgettable, and stargazing at night was gorgeous. Erin was so helpful and responsive during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed! The purpose of our trip was to celebrate Sukkot, and this campsite was the perfect place to do it.

Great place to get away. You have privacy and can get anything you want or need in 15 minutes. Stars were great and nighttime cool air was a treat after hot days. Overall, a great experience.

I wasn't crazy about the bathroom but at the same time it served its purpose.

A great experience of staying in yurts in the middle of the desert, especially for those people who like to camp. The yurt and the area around it are equipped with everything necessary for a multi-day quality stay. The proximity of only 12 minutes drive to the Joshua tree national park gives this accommodation an added value. For every recommendation!

Great location for stargazing. The yurts are thoughtfully furnished. Decent privacy if staying in one of the newer yurts on the second site. There's no way to reserve a particular yurt. Selection is first come first served even when selecting a particular yurt online. The toilet and the shower stalls are both tiny and rustic but I would definitely return again and again.

For the price and glamping allure, I expected much better shower and toilet facilities. Both were tiny and basic (budget shower heads, fixtures, etc.). The compost toilet was also disappointing. Better to have an upscale communal bathing facility with updated fixtures and a modern, luxurious design.

It’s not a 5* hotel. It’s glamping. So every thing is basic. But the beds are the comfiest and cosiest we’ve had on our road trip. Erin is a delightful and helpful host and you can tell the thought, love and passion she has poured into building this special place. The yurts are delightful (and well equipped for camping). A lovely time was had bbq-ing and sitting around the camp fire watching the stars. Wish I could have stayed longer!
