If you're a U2 fan, it is cool to stay where the band had a photo shoot when they were gathering images for the Joshua Tree album. I really enjoyed the hot tub under the full moon. I went in January, so would like to say "Thank You!" for turning on the hot tub for me. The room was adorable and comfortable. With the kitchenette, it would be a great place to base camp if visiting Joshua Tree National Park.

There is nothing wrong with the motel itself...but if you're sensitive to noise, it is close to the 62 and was just a bit noisy. If you're tired from a day of walking around the park and bouldering, this should not be a problem!

I had room #6, which I highly recommend: it's at the end of the building and row of other rooms. It's nice to have one free wall, not shared with another guest. The property is super cute and Ash is the most lovely owner and host. She sets you up with all the need-to-know upon arrival and really cares about your stay. I'm very familiar with the J-tree area and have stayed many times. I like the Harmony Motel because of its personality, aesthetic and you feel like you are staying in the park. Plus, the pool is quite wonderful for a smaller property: well-maintained and the perfect cool temperature. I've found that a lot of 4-5 star places keep the pool way too warm when it's already warm or hot outside. Will definitely stay again!

It's a 2-star property, so just take care with interacting with the facilities, they are doing well but require gentle handling.

We had a great 2 night stay at Harmony Motel, we visited the Joshua Tree National Park and also spent time relaxing by the pool and hot tub. The whole feel of the place is lovely and quirky. Bonus was having a kitchen, enjoyed being able to cook our own food for a couple of nights on our family road trip.

There was no breakfast facility at this motel but the main town of 29 Palms was only 3 miles away (alongside, being very close to Joshua Tree National Park). I was also, given the option of using the communal kitchen for a small additional fee. The rooms were wonderful, cozy and clean and following, 2 nights of camping in the desert, the shower was absolutely heavenly. I would definitely recommend the high altitude Harmony Motel or, would return there for another stay in the future:-)

Very good position, very near to Joshua tree national park. I enjoyed very much the swimming pool and the spa. I really appreciated the kindness of the landlady. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean.

The floor carpets were a bit old. During the night we could hear the noise of the cars in the main road.

Kitchenette was cute and perfect for what I needed. I had been camping, so I had food to use up, and definite need for a shower and soft bed. I felt like it was my home for the night. All the comforts.

There's road noise that's a bummer. I would have gotten in the pool and the whirlpool but they weren't heated. Spa came on at 5 -9 pm and a family was in it for the prime time. I realize it's expensive to heat them.

The room is immaculate and well-appointed. The full kitchen with a stove and full-sized refrigerator is an excellent amenity. There are good supermarkets within an easy driving distance. The owner of the property is attentive and wants to make certain that the stay is going well. The location is fantastic for any visitor to Joshua Tree National Park with several entry points to the park within an easy drive.

The rooms were clean, with a full kitchen, tv, and bathroom. I loved the decor and the history of the place, and the pool/spa area was very cute and well maintained. Super quiet here, very peaceful. Perfect desert getaway.

The parking is a little bit interesting to navigate if you park in the lot near the street, it’s a tight space. But overall, a non-issue.

Quite dated Pool area is very basic (the deck chairs looked like they had been there since the place first opened !!)

This place was great! Huge room with a great lay out, full kitchen. There’s a hot tub to relax in after hiking in Joshua tree, but we couldn’t use it because of a wind storm. Great location

The shower was big, but water leaked out around the curtain too easily.
