Comfortable and spacious room, a bit old school decor - but it is functional! The hotel is exactly as the listing; there was enough parking with the option of valet. The location is perfect if you want to stay in a quiet neighbourhood away from the buzz of Hollywood and Beverley Hills. We loved breakfast at Le Pain Quotiden, a stone throw from the hotel - they served wholesome, delicious food. Enjoyed seeing LA and very happy we picked this hotel...we loved taking the Pacific Coast Highway - amazing scenic drive between Westlake Village and Malibu/ Beverley Hills/ Downton LA.

The location in Westlake is a nice peaceful setting. The hotel is next to a major road and freeway but you can't see it at all and you feel secluded there. Plenty of good affordable food in the area.

I was charged for water that was mistakenly delivered to my room. When I noticed the charges on my bill I asked the front desk and they assured my they would credit the account. In the end they did not. I emailed back and forth several times and even created a case online but the hotel did not credit me. There seems to be no way to call the Westlake location as the recording says the mailbox is full. Very frustrating.

The two bellmen (or whatever you call them these days) were so friendly and helpful and we really appreciated their service. The front desk was very nice too. The room was spacious and spotless. Our only a small complaint was that there was no nightstand on one side of the bed. If you wanted to have a nightstand for each person, they would have to sleep in separate beds. That doesn’t work for us! We would have appreciated some glasses in the room and a towel ring or bar for face towels. Water for making the in room coffee would have been appreciated as well. Otherwise, everything was great.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Black out curtains were a little strange in that altho they "darkened" the room significnantly, there was still light coming thru similar to very early morning light. I prefer BLACKOUT curtains as I'm sensitive to any light when trying to sleep.

The bottled water had a little tag "Complimentary for elite members" w/tiny print below saying the water was only free with certain status designations, otherwise it was $3.50/bottle. We were elite members but had just signed up so hadn't reached even the lowest of status designations yet. I thought the tag was a bit confusing. However, the front desk was kind enough to wave the fee.

We loved how clean and updated the property was! It was also conveniently located and walking distance to a lot of good shops and restaurants. We brought our dog, and they were super accommodating! It was easy to get comfortable and feel at home for our two-night stay

I wish the pool was open a bit later!

You did a good job of masking the noise from the freeway, but the waterfalls are pretty loud. I felt that the daily parking charge was unnecessary given the volume of available parking in the lot.

Very clean remodeled room. Facilities were not very busy so I was surprised that the rate was higher?

Looked onto the roof and air conditioneers from the second floor so I closed the drapes.

The hotel is very nice, the pool is great and it’s not far from some nice restaurants. We stayed there while visiting Malibu so it’s like 30mins from the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great, only thing is that the floors in our room could’ve been swept/vacuumed a little better because we had some crumbs and sand and they were still around after housekeeping.

The room, staff and grounds were all really well run and I was very happy with my stay. I was impressed by the gym!! Best hotel gym I’ve seen aside from 5 star hotels.

Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was unimpressive—expected fresher ingredients from a “farm to table”. Not bad just not great.

Safe neighborhood. quiet. ample parking. friendly staff. nice lobby. large tv screen.

room did not feel like a Hyatt Regency. felt more like a middle market hotel. your branding of this hotel perhaps should be reconfigured. including breakfast with price perhaps would have made up for this misperception.
