The hot baths were great. The bed was really comfortable. We got a quiet room although we gad to move after 1st night to achieve this. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Near to Buena Vista and Salida for eating out and close to hiking trails in the mountains.

The bedroom was very dirty behind the bed and the carpet was very dirty. The TV is a direct TV which is very basic old technology with no ability to access streaming TV or even connect to an external device to achieve this. There was no sunshade at any of the pools. The sauna didn’t work well as it was never hot enough. The steam room wasn’t working.

Driving at night to the resort looked magical, like something from a Hallmark movie at Christmas! The grounds and hot spring pools were clean and well kept. The water temperature relaxed us and helped us with aches and pains. My husband didn't have knee pain all week. Our Creekside Suite had a kitchen and a fireplace, making it like home. The food and staff at the Mary Murphy Steakhouse were fantastic, as well as service by Lee at the Market. Noteworthy also were staff Scout, Jenny, Keeton and Joey at the front desk. Nearby sites to see were St. Elmo Ghost Town, Buena Vista and Salida. After Memorial Day, Cottonwood Pass is open for you to see a 360 view of the Continental Divide atop a 12,000 foot mountain.

We stayed in a creekside condo. Our room opened to a deck right on the river. We enjoyed the ambience and even some heat from the gas fireplace. Having a kitchenette enabled us to have some meals in the room. It was a short walk to the Relaxation Pool and Spa. Grounds are very well maintained, with an abundance of flowers, so the longer walk to the Infinity Pool was pleasant. We borrowed the E-bikes and rode to St. Elmo. Had a delicious dinner at the Mary Murphy Steakhouse and pizza from the little store. We both indulged in a massage at the Spa. The pools in the creek are a fun experience, but they were often closed due to the increased water level from the rains. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. We were looking to get away and relax, and this place was just what we needed.

The shower in the room was like thousands of needles stinging your skin. We mentioned it to the front desk, and they installed a new shower head that day. It would have been nice to have a mat or rug inside the entry door to help keep the floor clean. I could have used a dish drainer in the kitchen. We used so few dishes that the dishwasher wasn't necessary. I also thought a drying rack that could be placed in the tub for wet bathing suits would have been helpful.

From the moment we arrived at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort, we were enchanted. We'd seen the pictures, but they simply don't do this place justice. We were honestly shocked by how gorgeous the grounds are and how well-kept the entire resort is. We stayed in one of the creekside suites, and it was a delightful surprise. The room was spacious and immaculately clean right on the creekside. Nature's white noise to fall asleep. It was cozy yet modern, the perfect place to unwind after a day of soaking. The staff deserves a special shoutout—they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay, making us feel genuinely welcome. The amenities are what truly set Mt. Princeton apart. For example, we learned the cabanas at the upper pools are freefor overnight guests. The hot springs themselves are magical, with a variety of pools at different temperatures. Soaking in the natural, geothermal water while listening to the sound of Chalk Creek flowing by was pure bliss. We left feeling completely rejuvenated, already planning our next trip back. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape with family or friends, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is an unforgettable experience. It's a true gem in the heart of the Rockies, and we can't wait to return.

I can't think of anything. Do you do discounts for returning guests? 😀

We loved the hot pools, especially the adult pool and the infinity pool.

We were in one of the hillside rooms. In my opinion they need a major upgrade. The rooms are tired and dingy. There are not enough plug sockets and no current access for USB without a plug adaptor. Most hotels seem to be providing these now. The furniture is dark and out of date. Very disappointed, the room brought down the whole experience. It felt like we were staying in a cheap motel. We also found the restaurant overpriced. The ambience is lovely, but we had the same meal in Flora Dora's in Telluride and it was far nicer and cost less. I think this Mount Princetom Hot Springs has a captive audience for food as there is nothing else around.

The facilities were wonderful. The staff, room, accommodations all great. The only exception, was the restaurant. The server we had, was too inexperienced for that type of dinner setting. There weee only / servers and one hostess, to help the servers. The hostess, helped mostly our server. She could not remember anything we requested. A drink, spoon for iced tea, lemons, etc. while the other server, seemed to have his section under control. Our server needs more training, before she can handle a 2 server dinner restaurant. The other thing, is the food was over cooked. Both my wife’s and mine. I had steelhead trout, and have of the portion was perfect. The other half was dry and overcooked. My wife had sweet potato gnocchi’s, with chicken. The chicken was hard and dry. It should never have been served. I am a retired restaurant chain owner, so I see things others may overlook.

Clean, classy with a natural not overly pretentious vibe. Great mix of manmade luxuries and comforts along with the original, natural hot springs access.

The food options- very limited quick meal options. The only option that felt healthy and fresh was the curry chicken salad. All other spa menu options sounded great on the menu but were pre-packaged snacks/sandwiches you can buy yourself at a grocery store. Express/to go food menu offered great sounding choices but they were messy and mid-level flavor. Restaurant got one of our two orders wrong and it was decent but overpriced.

First off, I have NEVER had a resort/hotel call me at our room to ask how the room was, if it met our expectation, etc. It exceeded them!! The suite was beautiful with a pretty view of the creek. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is huge and beautiful so having the map the front desk gave us came in handy. The steak house was awesome/yummy! The hubby and I were there for our wedding anniversary. It was the last activity from our 5 day trip and I would recommended this resort to everyone!!!

Everything was lovely!

I have stayed here multiple times and will be back again. This was my first time in the Hillside room. Standard basic motel style room. Infinity pool was closed during our visit (it has limited hours in the winter) so we drove down to the main pools. Pools were super hot despite our stay being on one of the coldest days of the year. There was a free full moon yoga event the night we were there but we only found out about it after it was over. Maybe they could have mentioned it when we checked in? Otherwise our stay was nice. Good for a short low-key getaway.

Rooms need a little tlc. Could use warmer lighting and a luggage rack. I have always wanted to eat at the restaurant since it is so convenient, but unfortunately it's a steakhouse, which is not appealing cuisine for an otherwise nourishing experience (especially if your diet is plant-based). So we always go into town for food to bring back to the room. Hoping someday they move toward healthier options to complete the spa experience.

Beautiful location to enjoy the many different soaking and swimming pools. Our balcony was a favorite spot in the morning to sit and enjoy a natural sound bath with the creek rushing by. The food at the main restaurant was excellent every time. I loved the salad with the lime chili dressing.

The. Nespresso machine in our room was problematic. Also, we stayed for several days and were told we couldn't' take the arm band off on our own or we would lose access to the pools.
