The room was clean, large and had comfortable beds. The bathroom area was small but modern and attractive. The front desk staff was very helpful. I appreciate having a room with 2 beds.

The room was sparsely furnished with seating options that were a little too funky for older people. A luggage stand or other surface to put a suitcase on would have been helpful. The furnishings are definitely retro so this room might be a little too unique for some people.

We stayed in one of the five refurbished Airstream trailers on the property. It was a fun experience. Initially we were skeptical about the shared bathrooms for the Airstreams. However, the shared bathrooms exceeded our expectations. They were only used by the occupants of the five Airstreams as the motel rooms come with private bathrooms. The shared bathrooms/shower facilities are very new and were kept sparkling clean during our stay. It was perfect. Also, the staff are amazing - helpful, warm and friendly.

Keep expectations low about the "grab and go" breakfasts. Coffee, orange juice, hot water for instant oatmeal and power bars. Fine with us, but may not meet everyone's expectations.

The stay in the air stream offers privacy. Good atmosphere. We liked it.

We stayed in a 4 bed airstream. One of us slept in a bunk bed. The bed cover in the main bed is warm and comfortable. It the bunk bed it gets quite cold in the night when outside temperature is at around 42F. You have to switch on heating, which is noisy when it starts up everytime.

We are on a 19 day trip out west, this has been the best place we have stayed. I was a little leery, i booking at a motor lodge, but this place was amazing. So clean, the beds incredibly comfortable, the outside area where you can sit and enjoy was perfect. You’re only 4 miles down to the historic District by the river. I would definitely come back here again and stay.

We love this little motel and have stayed here a few times now. It’s our go to place to stay in Salida. It’s very clean, comfortable, with cute updated decor. The signs they have posted around are all very clever. We finally used the hot tub and it was great. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast is only granola bars and coffee. Would make more sense not to even mention they offer breakfast.

I booked this for my parents for one night on a little road trip. They admired the retro style, cleanliness, friendly staff and creative touches (original Amigo coffee blend- so cute). The Amigo warns of potential road noise but my folks reported that because they put in all new windows their room was very quiet for sleeping- notable also because they had neighbors in rooms on both sides. I think this was a nice little stopover in the lovely little town of Salida.

The only thing they mentioned as a surprise was that there was no coffee makers in rooms, it was a short walk to the lobby to grab a fresh cup and breakfast snacks. However, the coffee is actually really high quality yummy coffee from a local roaster, which they sell in bags as a souvenir to bring home :)

From the air stream to the separate facilities to the hot tub and the staff. I've stayed in a few places there in salida. Hopefully this will be our new second home

Just bring your own Chromecast for the kids if ya wanna watch your TV. There equiped with classic DVDs which are awesome but some folks like there netflix

This is a great place to stay while exploring beautiful Salida. I stayed in PeeWee, the small airstream, and it was perfect for me. I was traveling alone but I think a couple would enjoy these particular accommodations as well. I didn't realize that I would need to use the bath house for ALL my needs but that was really no bother at all. The bath house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The creativity of the decor matched the wonderful creative energy of the town. I can't wait to come back.

We were stranded with a flat tire, on a holiday weekend and they found a way to accommodate a reservation for us. Really worked hard to be sure we were happy and we were. We grabbed a few quick breakfast items to go back home. The hot tub and the lights, trees, etc were very relaxing. Large too and not crowded. Fireplace pits are cool, didn't get to use them though as we were exhausted and would have (and could have) fallen asleep in the chairs we were so tired.

A few things on Booking could be listed more accurately (not the complexes fault, its Booking as they don't want you to know a few details) like a few rooms are actually remodeled Airstream campers and toilet/showers are in a different building. Small but comfortable, we chose a different and "normal room". But don't get me wrong, the airstreams are still nice.

Great decor; nice toiletries; pleasant staff; very clean; funky; even though they don't have coffee supplies in the room, they'll give you a Kuerig and coffee, if you ask

In my deluxe king, there wasn't any place to put my suitcase. There was a little metal hanging rack in the bathroom area, but with no bench or even a board across the bottom to place my suitcase. Odd.
