Everything was meticulous—what was provided and what was expected in return. That is to say that everything (including outdoor furniture!) was perfectly clean and carefully presented. That same obsessiveness came out in extensively stated rules and expectations. This suited me fine because I’m not an inconsiderate pig, but apparently a few of those have stayed there. A woman cheerfully let me in early, even though I said I would be glad to circle back at the normal time.

All the rules and expectations came close to making me a little nervous, but I told myself they are easy to meet. Such clarity is far better than sloppy assumptions. I would be pleased to return.

The property was adorable. We definitely came in the off season so we had a lot of privacy and everything was very quiet. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly appointed; the bed was a little small (but was accurately described so not a complaint). I also really appreciated that they allowed dogs; it was a requirement when searching for a location. We enjoyed the kitchen features to make our meals; and though we didn't use it we loved that they had a grill available outside the cabin as well. We ate lunch on our own little front porch. The check in process was easy with the door code. The texting service was very convenient and staff was very friendly.

Great short stay for us. Just a short drive into town and a great location. The facilities were well maintained with plenty of stuff to do. The cabins were clean and well set up. The staff were friendly and polite and offered their knowledge on the local area. Would definitely stay again.

There were a few added amenities which we were unaware of when booking. The room was equipped with a mini-fridge/freezer, full-sized coffee maker, a small electric flame stove and extra blankets. Very cozy. And the staff is amazing!

We stayed in the cabins with two bedrooms. The place was very clean and updated. The kitchen was well appointed. The beds were super comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was how thin the walls were between bedrooms. You can hear conversations thru the wall like you were in the same room. But, hey, you are in a cabin! :)

Cabins and rooms in the lodge set amid green grass and large shady trees close to town. We loved the large covered porch on the lodge and the peaceful space. The staff is friendly and professional.

I love this little motel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were very nicely kept.

The bathroom sink was in the room instead of the bathroom. I prefer it the normal way, but it didn't cause a problem.

Very cozy. It seemed like a great place to stay if you were bringing your family to stay for more than a few days. I really enjoyed it, but as a solo business traveler, I did not feel like I was their typical guest.

Place was great. No changes.

Great communication with the staff, warm welcome with the heater going and music playing. The walls were a bit thin, but this is a lodge/cabin experience. I’d stay here again!
