Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet property, warm pool, jacuzzi tub in our room.

Advertised with hot tub and breakfast, did not have either. Also 2nd floor room with no elevator, which was not an issue for us but might be if you had limited mobility. Desk staff offered to let us cancel, but it wasn't worth finding another hotel after a long day of traveling. Booking.com just needs to update their info on this hotel. I felt the price was a little high based on those factors. I'd probably stay again, though.

Our family sized room with 1 king and 2 full beds was perfect for the 6 of us! The room was very clean and stocked with plenty of fresh towels. There were 2 sinks/vanity areas, so that was nice for getting ready. The large pool was great for the kids to take full advantage of after a long day of travel and sightseeing.

The parking lot could be tight if you have a big rig to pull in, but was just fine for parking our family sized SUV.

I didn't have high expectations for a roadside inn, but was pleasantly surprised. I spent a week here, the rooms are clean and comfortable, I didn't hear any noise from the 50 roadway, the staff were nice and accommodating. The interiors have been refurbished, making everything new looking. Wifi was solid for working. I'd definitely stay again!

I called, date of stay, to notify that we were stopped by road construction and would be late check in. I was informed we made no reservation to include our dog. He cancelled our reservation. Through booking.com our credit card was charged days ahead of arrival. He said we would have to go through Booking.com to discuss our $$ expense. I am very disappointed with Booking.com.

Great location and relatively affordable

Late at night there were people, who were likely other guests, shouting at each other which woke us up and was alarming. This was not the fault of the lodge, but it did lead to a negative experience. Also the wifi only reached the entrance of our room, I would request the lodge to increase their signal strength.

The man at the front desk was super helpful. I came early and asked if I could check in before 3PM. He said yes after checking with housekeeping. I then asked if he could hold a key for my boyfriend that was coming later. He said yes to that as well. Very accommodating and nice folks. They checked my boyfriend’s ID to ensure it wasn’t a random person. I just really appreciate that!

Room was very clean and furnished better than I expected. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Exceeded my expectations for a hotel rated only 2 stars. Made up for some other poor experiences at other hotels on this trip.

One thing that could have been better is if breakfast had been included. There was a very nice restaurant for breakfast just down the street though.

It had good beds, The bathroom and shower was fine. The manager noticed that I would appreciate a first floor room and put us in a handicapped room. That was much appreciated.

The only real complaint was a very noisy AC. The price seems high to us too for where it is.

It is an old hotel but the owner tried to make it as comfortable as possible for guests. The AC was old and noisy but worked and it was in a separate area, a part of the bathroom. So not so noisy like being in the same room. There were extension codes for cell phones besides bed. Good window coverings in the bathroom, so that we can still have AC's air coming to the bedroom with our door open yet the light from the bathroom was covered to sleep in. The value was very good.

It was not much of a bother but they only have a certain number of parking space and it is not numbered, assigned to your room. So when we came back late, we had to park far from our room. It would be nice if the lot was assigned to your room, so nobody takes your lot, in front of your room.
