It's a beautiful place, very bougie/boutique-y, great food, great views, very fun for big groups and weddings. Staff is great.

There is literally NO PLACE for your clothes - like not even ONE drawer to be found - so all my stuff ends up all over the place. There is also nothing nearby if you want regular sundries (like Coke and Lay's chips, a 6-pack, that sort of stuff). Hopefully by Memorial Day 2025 a store will be opening nearby (Buena Vida) but for now if you want anything you have to rely on what they sell there (Mexican Coke for $6, etc.).

The shower was a nice surprise. The King bed was comfortable. Associated restaurant food was very good and excellent variety.

I had paid for a view of the Collegiate Peaks but our room did not even face the river ! The walk around balcony was nice. Parking was very bad — I am handicaped and was lucky to find a single slot each night. The clothes hanger rod was very frustrating as it angled down and clothes kept falling off — very bad design ! The photo of your facility on the web site that I used was of a totally different building to what it is.

Restaurant was great and the room views are amazing. Rooms are so pretty - we actually toured several before picking the one that was perfect for us.

Really wished they offered breakfast and the only thing I didn’t love were the sheets. They kept making sparkles because it’s probably polyester. I know I’m being picky but beds are super important to me and I couldn’t sleep. Also gotta bring own water there because the bottles are selling for $4 each which is absurd.

Rooms are very comfortable and good sized. We had a great room with a balcony and river view. Our room wasn’t ready yet as we arrived early but Meagan at the front desk made sure to check on us and let us know as soon as room was ready. Greatly enjoyed the room upgrade!

The restaurant at the hotel have good food but was very loud and busy. I think all the restaurants in town are busy at the same time also. We commend the restaurant staff for putting up with all the chaos being so busy and were friendly and as efficient as they could be.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Surf Hotel & Chateau, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm ambiance welcomed me, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. The Wesley & Rose Lobby restaurant truly stood out as a highlight of my experience. The meals were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors. What truly made the dining experience exceptional was the incredibly friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and attended to throughout my meal. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to every dining moment. Overall, my stay at Surf Hotel & Chateau was nothing short of fantastic, thanks in large part to the wonderful atmosphere and culinary delights provided by the Wesley & Rose Lobby restaurant.

We loved the setting of our room. The open air courtyard was lovely and the steps down to the river offered a beautiful Colorado experience. We all wished that we could have stayed longer. Walking to downtown was not far at all. We will come back when we can stay longer.

There were no negatives for this stay. You would be hard pressed to find something that you didn't like.

This hotel was beautifully designed from the lobby to the restaurant/ bar to the variety of rooms. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms that opened to a balcony on the river and it was gorgeous sitting outside enjoying the fall colors and listening to the river. The food and drinks at Wesley & Rose were amazing and all of the staff we encountered were incredible. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family!

Location was right on the river, balcony looked over the river and had mountains in the background. There were hiking paths all around the hotel that were amazing. Beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Staff was great. Restaurant food was delicious. Hotel bar was nice.

There was no iron or full-length mirror in the room.

The room was spacious with amenities like a fridge, storage, teapot and tea/coffee. The patio was especially nice, overlooking the river. The room was close to the main hotel so it was easy to access the restaurant and we also had privacy.

It would have been nice if the hot tub had been completed. It would have been nice to have designated parking spots. Otherwise, not much could have been improved.

The attention to detail of the design and finishes is exceptional. If feels like it's been there forever, in a grand way. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and the menu has a a good variety of fresh and flavorful options.

The cooler in my room was very noisy.
