I really liked the many areas outside to gather with friends and hang out. The hot tub and BBQ area is amazing space to gather with friends. Also, the staff is very friendly, and very attentive when answering the simple text a question feature to the staff.

I didn't like that there wasn't really any additional information in the room. No menus for restaurants or numbers, no map to ice box, ECT or even the times for breakfast in the lobby is no where to be found and or advertised. I had to go out of my way to ask the front desk, and I unfortunately missed breakfast.

I didn't have breakfast out use their Internet so can't comment on that,but having traveled throughout country and motels soo numerous to even remember anywhere close how many,this is my input. One of the cleanest I've been in. They take good care of property in and out. Very good location,near town but not on top of it,etc. More scenic location yet with restaurants close by and a big Walmart right down Rd. Important for me excellent tv stations selections with plenty of choices including movie stations and ME tv etc. Everything worked excellent including heat. My only reservation to let you know,is that you have to get their by 8pm because they close then and to check in you then would need to let them know to get a computerized check in procedure which i don't like and would never use. I got in before 8pm,but due to late reservation didn't know till just before 8pm I had to get in by then. Also they do have a sort of regimented way of following rules and doing a lot by an impersonal computer system,and a lot of posted rules and regulations,was fine with me,but may irritate some guests. So just being aware of these few things I would give a 9 out of ten on this motel. I don't give many of those out.

Comfortable room with plenty of towels. The swimming pool was nice with towels supplied. Nice bedding and good night's sleep. Breakfast finished a little early at 9.30 but we made the effort and it was varied

The pool was screened from view. A screen is necessary but should be a material that doesn't hide swimmers from view. A safety concern if swimming alone. Nobody would know if you were taken ill or had a fall. Please consider removing the high wooden fence. Single use plastic...why do boiled eggs need to be in little plastic bags and individual slice of bread in plastic bags.? Not good in this day and age.

It was very nice and comfortable. My son and I really enjoyed our stay, my son loves it there as do I and the staff are really friendly and nice. thank you, Salida Inn & Monarch Suites, for your kindness and hospitality.

The manager was amazing. Apparently there was a technical issue that caused our reservation to not be transmitted from Booking.com to the property but he quickly found us a room at a better rate than originally expected. Was very polite and helpful in a situation that I’m sure was stressful on his end.

We had no issues. Clean, comfortable and the rates are great.

Room was tastefully decorated and very clean, staff was helpful, but the gentleman was having a rough day as there was a weather related power outage the day of our arrival.

Pillows lacked any support and temperature in the room was set very warm for my taste.

It's a well maintained motel with lots of pride of ownership. The room was fine the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. This is the third time I've stayed at this motel and plan to stay there again in the future.

Our King room was very large and quiet, and the bed comfortable.

The breakfast was a bit sparse, mostly pre-packaged items. The property is showing its age, but is still adequate.

Good location, VERY nice and friendly staff, nice clean room. Enjoyed the extra space & seating in a "suite" room. Restaurant recommendations from staff were great. I would recommend staying here, although we did go elsewhere for breakfast. Hopefully the mattresses are upgraded sometime after this review. Would stay again.

Limited disappointing breakfast (but the coffee great!), mattress was old uncomfortable springy, ran out of toilet paper & no room refresh provided. We had to come to office to get fresh towels and toilet paper.

This property is truly a gem and the most bang for your buck you’ll find out of many places definitely able to be a 5 star or higher hotel, all they would need is a spa and bar/restaurant

Truly nothing to complain about
