Breakfast selection was more than adequate and satisfied our appetites. The room was perfect and more than we had anticipated. The kitchenette was completely stocked with dinnerware, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs with a stove, microwave , toaster, fridge, dishwasher. Perhaps the biggest perk is that our grandchildren live less than 10 minutes from the Residence Inn Shelton Fairfield County!
Can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. We were pleasantly surprised by the extent of the effort and detail which made our stay extremely pleasant.

The bed was really comfortable.
We needed a room for 4 adults, 2 who are disabled, but there were none on the 1st floor. The commode slow flushing. The doors and drawers didn't close properly.

Great location for what we needed. The check in was seamless, and the staff was friendly. The room was everything promised, and very clean.
We found the breakfast offerings to be a bit underwhelming. There were plenty of people there enjoying it, but we were just hoping for a bit more.

The staff was great very polite and very helpful. I would definitely come back.
I was charged twice from a reservation but after I called and spoke to the gentleman the front desk he spoke to his manager and they took care of it the same day.

Great spread, alot if choices. Even with Covid, the whole Breakfast experience was exceptional.
Because of Covid, you had to take your Breakfast back to your room. Bit that's not Residence's fault. So really everything was perfect.
