Room was large and very clean. We were able to sleep 3 adults comfortably with the pullout sofa, and the room had a living area and a bedroom so we weren't bumping into one another. It was quiet and comfy. We were there for the Coast Guard Academy graduation and it was very convenient. It's around the corner from Mohegan Sun Casino where we had to park to take the shuttle to campus. Easy peasy.

Bathroom lighting is very dim so it isn't conducive to putting on makeup. I just used the mirror in the bedroom.

Excellent free breakfast options! Good location! Helpful and friendly staff! Rooms were comfortable! No difficulty in receiving more towels and pillows. Each bed offered 3 pillows. The couch bed was comfortable and easy to pull out. The couch was big enough for our youngest to sleep on the part of the couch that doesn't pull out (perfect for a little one!) Our family of 5 was comfortable in the room. The small fridge gave enough room for our leftovers and we enjoyed a take out dinner at the desk that pulls out into a table. The microwave worked well and was very clean. There's an in room safe in one of the drawers. We liked having 2 tvs so we could all enjoy the same show together while in bed in both areas of the room. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels. Our teenagers liked a late night swim, the pool is open til 11pm. The chairs in the pool area were in perfect condition and there were plenty of lounge chairs and regular chairs. The room was appropriately warm and the water clean. The fitness area looked clean and in good shape as well. There is also a laundry room that we used and dry cleaning service. We didn't see any detergent to purchase at the hotel, but there were dryer sheets. We could have overlooked the soap. There was nothing in the hotel that seemed run down or in need of replacing. We were very pleased and are already planning our return visit with extended family!

There wasn't hand soap in the bathroom. We just used the shower gel to wash our hands.

there were large groups that ate most of the breakfast items before we’d gotten to the breakfast area (8:30). The woman working the breakfast area seemed overwhelmed. Would have liked a dark roast coffee option and real half & half but the coffee that was there was nice & hot.

The vibe was really nice, staff were great whenever I needed help with anything. The pool was awesome and the shuttle to mohegan is so convenient. Breakfast was great as well, everything was so good. I also like how they have basically a little store by the front desk to buy snacks, drinks, etc. it makes it really convenient so we don’t have to leave to get anything.

Only things that weren’t so great was the sofa bed, it was insanely uncomfortable for me, if it had a bit more cushioning it would be alright but I probably wouldn’t get a suite again after that. The other thing was our remote, we had 2 tvs in the room but the remote was only working for one of them.

The breakfast was great and had a great variety of options...The staff were really kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable..Great location 5 minutes from Mohegan Sun and less than 15 minutes from Foxwood.

The only thing that was disappointing about the whole place was the floor of the shower..The paint was peeling. We had to wear flip flops in the shower. So paint chips would not get on our feet..

The Hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and again very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. Overall this is a great alternative to staying at Mohegan Sun. You are a 5 minute drive from the casino and the hotel does have a shuttle service if you wanted to use it. I plan on staying here again when we go to Mohegan Sun.

To be honest I do not have anything bad to say about my stay. We did not try the breakfast, so i cannot give a rating on that option but overall i have no complaints.

Everyone was super helpful and friendly: the reception staff, the breakfast ladies, cleaning staff, even the maintenance guy took time to ask if I needed help seeing that I was standing by the reception! I see a staff who cares and that matters. We did not use it but we appreciate the option of a free shuttle to the casino (4 pm to 12 am). The pool looked very well maintained. Cleanliness is prominent throughout the facilities. The hotel obviously has undergone recent renovations and updates that makes it a very decent place to stay. Loved that there are 2 TV’s in the king suite we stayed in, one of which is huge. The sitting area is very spacious with a sofa bed and a big two level desk. Breakfast: thank you for having almond milk and lactose free milk for people who cannot have dairy. The breakfast area is exceptionally clean. Coffee and tea 24/7 is much appreciated. It’s a bonus to have a dim sum restaurant right next to the hotel ; )

We are VERY happy with this hotel but if I have to nitpick: There is only one waffle maker and there is always a wait for it. There are some signs of the hotel being older, like peeling ceiling in the bathroom and the scratched up benches in the reception area. There should be 2 TV remote controls instead of one for sharing LOL. They did give me an extra upon request. Please go back to providing a printed TV guide. And the control not having numbers is very annoying and time consuming : / Safety: The shower does not have the usual fall prevention handle to hold on to except the handle on the shower door. But the door can swing both ways which actually creates a hazard.

Absolutely loved the shuttle to Mohegan, especially on a night like NYE when people are drinking…definitely promoted safety! The staff could not have been friendlier as well, and let us extend our check out time!

The room smelt like moth balls and the second tv didn’t work. Other than that, very very impressed and would highly recommend!!

Friendly staff and the pool was great. It was a little cold but refreshing. There is a big broken floor tile in the bathroom as you entered. Be sure not to be barefoot cause that could cause a mess. Suggestion: fix the tile soon.

The beds were a little uncomfortable. I have a medical issues and sleep elevated. Not enough comfort even with extra pillows. My husband also struggled with his sleeping. Suggestion: bed topper.

Though I do drive, I chose to go by public transportation and found the travel quite easy from New London to the hotel. The staff was quite pleasant, the King Suite was very comfortable and the hot breakfast was great. Additionally, they offer a shuttle from the hotel to the Mohegan Sun Casinos and the drivers were always available and nice. They don't start until 4pm, but this was not a problem. I strolled on my own to the casino to catch a bus to the Mystic Aquarium and it took me less than 15 min. I would definitely go back.
