Everything--office, beach, and cleaning staff were wonderful, friendly, and responsive. Umbrellas and chairs on the beach (included in room rate) were a nice surprise. Solid continental breakfast is also included. Location couldn't have been better--less than 1 minute walk to the (private) beach, and it's also centrally-situated on the island overall, so nothing is too far away. We accidentally left something in the room and they offered to mail it back to us.

Minor complaint, but the size of the pool isn't big enough to accommodate a motel this size. It doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things because the ocean is just a few feet away, so most people don't care about that, but the pool feels crowded with more than a few people. It's just easier for our 4-year old to swim in the pool than in the ocean, so she preferred that.

Directly across the street from the resorts private beach. I had a perfect view of the ocean, yes even across the street. I never tried the free grab n go breakfast. They set up beach lounge chairs & umbrella for you. There is a free trolley that has a stop next to them. It's not overly crowded, crystal clear blue water, amazing beach sunset view!

I honestly can't say I have any complaints at all! I never 1 time had to ask for anything. Every single morning there was fresh towels outside the door on the chair. Housekeeping offered multiple times to tidy up.

The staff are exceptional. We arrived far too early for check in (English time difference!) Angie welcomed us in. Gave us some information and promised to email as soon as a room became available which Renee did. The breakfast area was clean and the food very fresh with the option of eating out in the sunshine. Added bonus is a portion of the beach directly across from silver surf is allocated for guests only and was an absolute blessing! Amazing stay and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Silver surf have it perfect. We wished the island parking was better and signposted correctly as we managed to pick up a violation for parking the car in the wrong direction!!! However with the accommodation absolutely no complaints.

Location. Location,Location to the beach and handicapped facility. My sister and I could take our wheelchair and mobility cart to the pergola down the street to look at the beach and sit and read with very easy access. The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The mattresses were nice and firm and the pillows were soft and fluffy.

We didn't have any bedside lighting. The overhead lights are harsh at night even with dimmers and not for reading. The floors left my feet black, however, this is not the first time at a beach resort on ground floor that this has happened. Also, the vent hood was greasy, but the rest of the kitchen was very clean. The shower floor needs to be bleached out, the tile had some mildew and rust in the grout. P.S. I was a former property manager (LOL)

Wonderful location and the staff was exemplary. They were still trying to recover from the hurricane so I felt bad for them about that. They were doing a really good job though. The landscaping mostly was still in rough shape. And they had to do some work on the Wi-Fi so we didn’t have tv for a couple of days. That’s the main reason I didn’t give them a higher score. I would highly recommend silver surf though!

Just that we were without tv for longer than they initially indicated.

Everything redone- beds comfy, breakfast good, pool nice, walk across street to beach. We wanted to use the trolley but the schedule is sl off and it was too hot to wait, so we walked mainly. We found the fan running too slow but maintenance came very quickly and adjusted. There was very lil noise at night so we slept well.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. The water in the taps smelled and tasted like dirt but we brought 3 -1 gal jugs of spring water with us and we drank that. The ice tasted ok. The coffee in the room was affected by that so we didn’t drink it. Also the coffee mate creamers in the breakfast items we didn’t like so we brought our own half n half

Staff was great. Upgrades to rooms since my prior visit were nice. Appreciate the coffee and some breakfast options at the office. Location to a trolley stop was great. No car needed on island. Beach staff was very helpful.

There was very little water pressure in the bathroom sink in my room. Coffee in the rooms was not so great. In the studio unit I was in, once the Murphy bed was let down, there was only about 6 inches between the bed and the dresser. I banged into it often. Don't put the bed down until the last minute. If I return, I will get the next larger unit.

Noah at the front desk is a super star! Very clean and very relaxed atmosphere

Although we did get stuck in the elevator twice in 4days they staff and management were great and very quick to respond. I have to vouch for them The Delaware elevator company did come out and told them it was fixed. But apparently it wasn't they were having issues just about every day but they were going on the elevator company saying they did their part and fixed it.

The location was great, though crossing the street is a little tricky. Despite all of the pedestrian signs on the island, very few people stopped to let us cross the road.

The web site says that the rooms are "soundproof". However, we had an adjoining room and it was anything but soundproof. We could easily hear the one-year old screaming in the next room. I wish the property would give people the option of having an adjoining room. This hotel could have been a 5 start rating.

The location is absolutely perfect, you just have to cross the street to get to the beach, they have towels, chairs and umbrellas for you without cost; from the beach you can access to a close restaurant -from the beach or the street- it doesn’t belong to the hotel but is perfect because of how close is, also opens for breakfast very early and close so late (Piña Coladas are the best). At the hotel entrance is the stop of the trolley so is prefect if you want go to a different place in the island. The furniture inside the room is very modern and the room it was super clean taking in consideration that sand is very hard to clean. The staff was very helpful and kind.

The hotel need at least 4 ice maker machines. I couldn’t get ice at any time because the machine it was always without ice. And wait for the ice to make it was eternal. It was summer, so get ice from the stores it was a nightmare too. Also the breakfast, hmmm! could be better. Not a big deal these two things. I had the best time!
