This hotel is clean and overlooks the water with a marina. The room was very clean and nice decor. The beds were sooo comfortable. Everything worked very well. Breakfast was very good. The pool area was very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel. If in the area again, I will definitely stay here. Extra Information: There is a back parking lot by the marina that has more parking, we realized after seeing someone go out the back door of the hotel.

The balconies are open to the room next to you. We were fortunate noone was ever outside when we were. The breakfast area was very busy and no room to move around.

Firstly, I would like to thank to all the staff for making from short stay an amazing experience. The king rooms with balcony are really nice. The room was clean and had almost everything we needed :). I booked this hotel to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I contacted the hotel before my arrival, and I asked for a paid VIP in the room. Shout Out to Michelle and Chris, who run the extra mile ensuring that we had the perfect timing for my boyfriend's surprise. Also, I had a situation with my billing that Michelle solved it right away. Chris got in charge of every single detail and made constants follow ups, ensuring that our stay is a great one.

The pillows were not very comfortable. I missed a safe in my room.

Caveat: I stayed here immediately following Hurricane Helene. I chose it because it was close to the Island and the best location for accessing the Island early in the morning. The staff were attentive, friendly and available. Many had been impacted by the hurricane but they showed up to work anyway with a smile on their face. The hot breakfast was very good and I appreciated that it started at 6:30am. The dining room staff is funny, friendly, caring and available. The room was very large by hotel standards, great little fridge, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. I loved the laminate floors with area rugs as I have allergies triggered by most wall to wall carpeting. I also ate lunch and dinner at the Bar and Grill. Simple menu but fresh food that exceeded my expectations. I didn't try the 'nicer' restaurant next door. The pool is huge and inviting though I didn't have time to enjoy it. The views are beautiful from all the common areas. Lots of nice little touches--water always available in the lobby, 24 hour snack/sundry store, plenty of parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Compass hotel. Dawn was especially helpful during the breakfast hours and Cindy was awesome by the pool! We loved the proximity to Manatee Beach and finishing the day by the pool was fantastic. Rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable.

My biggest gripe was the lack of a secure internet that we could log into with a password. They only had guest internet and it didn't work well with a VPN so don't plan on using any of your internet capable devices there securely.

It was clean, good breakfast, Ms Dawn during breakfast was a delight, always smiling and making us feel so welcomed. Even though we only stayed 2 nights, she was a sunshine! The front desk staff was friendly, and the facility was close to beaches. Our room had a great view of the marina and saw many fishes and a manatee. Nice pool and great bar staff. We would totally come back again.

The only bad thing we found was that the icemaker on the 6th floor was not working, but we went to the other floors and it was fine, not biggy.

All in all the breakfast was exceptional and the location of the food was good. However, a suggestion we kept hearing from others was that perhaps the drinks like coffee, milk and juices could have been elsewhere to free up the room a bit. It was packed and difficult to maneuver especially with little one. CHRIS was awesome!!

The evening bugs were not great but we fixed that for the second and third nights. And, I know this is petty, but the TV's at the bar are hung at an odd height and covered by the hanging back stock of booze.

The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was great, the view good. The food was very good, the breakfast was well done. Happy hour was a bonus, but no reason not to have it on Friday and Saturday...the bar was like a graveyard and it was packed the other days with happy hour.

The cost was deceiving with all the additional taxes you get hit with. The gym was ok and needed some maintenance. The hallway on our floor should be vacuumed daily.

The location of the property and the view from our room was the best we have experienced till date. A true getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and relax with family. Very near to the pristine beaches of Anna Maria. The happy hour cocktails were refreshing when we arrived and the staff at the front desk were friendly to all our requests for our toddler. Breakfast buffet was simply a spread of all the freshest ingredients to start your day . Overall a memorable trip etched in our memories and true to the photos put up on booking.com.

It was an excellent stay with no issues whatsoever. Loved everything about the property.

Loved how friendly they were. The bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! There was a small fire pit, hammocks, comfy sitting areas, and a great little shop and bar area. Loved watching people come and go from the marina, and liked being visited by a few egrets and a manatee.

The rooms were too cramped for my taste. I’m glad it was just us two. With even one kid with us, we would’ve run over eachother. The balcony was very large, but two little plastic chairs??

The hotel was very clean. The staff always acknowledge us. When we walked into the hotel they would say Welcome back, when we were walking around they would say hi. At breakfast they asked several times about the quality and even struck up conversations. They made us feel like we were welcome there. The room was in great shape and very clean. The pool was really nice and clean. The hotel is in a great place to get to AMI, you just have to cross the bridge. There are several restaurants and a CSV just across the bridge.
