This was our 2nd time and it did not disappoint. The staff/owners are great. The uniqueness of the property and rooms is fun. Great location.

This was our second time overnighting here before a cruise. We love the location -- convenient for restaurants and shopping. Plus we value the spacious rooms and friendly staff. There are no elevators. You might want to reserve a first-floor room if you have mobility issues.

The hotel offers clean functionality and charm beyond what is reflected in their value pricing. What made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service and generous treatment the front desk team and manager provided. We had booked a several day stay at the least minute to escape an approaching catastrophic hurricane on Florida's west coast. Uncertain of when our home would be livable post storm, we waited and watched the situation evolve day to day. The day we received word we could return home the manager saw to it our quick mid-day departure was without hassle or extra charge. We felt incredibly fortunate to be at the Victoria Park Hotel in this case, with a team that provided a level of guest service that would be exceptional in the best of 5 star hotels - which illustrates well that in the end it is the fine people at a hotel who make all the difference.

The Victoria Park makes me feel like I'm in a Tennessee Williams play. That's a great thing as far as I'm concerned. I very much enjoyed the pool. It's the perfect size for a personal Water Zumba workout and it's the perfect temperature, most of the time in the sun. I enjoy the sparse furnishings and the immaculate cleaniless of the room. This is my third stay at the hotel. I'm a real fan of two food spots which are adjacent to the hotel: Modern Rose and Hummus House.

I wish that they could re-open their on-site cafe.

The communication with the hotel was excellent and professional. The instructions provided for our late check-in was very detailed and easy to follow. The room was very roomy and exceptionally clean! The hotel is older but the comfort was amazing! Very comfortable and located in a very good location. There are restaurants literally right next door, the mall is a block away and the beach is down the street. Very quaint with a tropical feel.

Simple hotel, well cozy, spacious rooms, comfortable with the amenities necessary for a good stay. I felt comfortable. Billy was very kind and attentive at the reception, gave tips from nearby places to eat. It is not close to the beach, but it is in a very quiet area. Parking was on the street, free. I also thank you for facilitating the early check-in..I hope to come back again.

The hotel, especially the courtyard area, is charming and all of the staff was incredibly friendly. It’s a quiet location, parking was free, great pool & hot tub area, and our room was huge!

We’d have loved electrical outlets near the bed to charge devices - there was nowhere to plug in thr charger side tables so they couldn’t be used, and we had to move the whole bed and unplug a wall light. I also hope they’re able to bring back some sort of kitchen and/or bar in the future!

Beautiful hotel built in the 1950's, rooms have been modernized. Very nice, clean, Property is surrounded by secured fence with password access. We stayed one night only, expected to arrive after the lobby closed at 6pm and depart before it opened in the morning. The staff was very communicative about check-in and out procedures and was very friendly on the phone.

I forgot my phone charger. Would have been nice to have charging ports available near the desk in the room. Also, our room had four windows which let a lot of light in past the shades, would have been nice to have a darker room for sleeping.

The two people who greeted us were very pleasant and helpful. (This was also evident in their earlier email correspondence.) The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked well maintained as was the courtyard. Food options were outlined upon our arrival. Restaurants were within short walking distance. Since our stay was brief, we had the opportunity to sample only one: The Hummus House was just across the street. It was absolutely great! Our smiling young server helped us in the door and his constant pleasant demeanor added to the enjoyment of our delicious lunch. It was a little pricey but plentiful. We are seniors and could probably have shared one order between us. Still, we nearly cleaned our plates!

The towels were great but I would suggest a rack near the sink for the hand towels. The position of the television was very awkward when viewing from the bed. It would be better placed near the foot of the bed where the oversized mirror was hung, especially since the tv edge encroached on the doorways to the kitchenette and the bathroom. I have mobility issues so the deep step to the room and at the curb outside the gate were a little awkward.

Beautiful hotel deep in the exclusive Victoria park area. Surrounded by yachts and multi million pound homes. Very clean spacious suites with whirlpool bath and separate shower. Kitchen with toaster microwave and fridge. Large comfy bed. Pool and hot tub just outside door. Lovely surroundings with palm trees. Reception has small cafe area with very reasonably priced wares. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you We will return Neil and Kate
