My first time staying at a Tru seemed very good … Breakfast wasn’t skimpy

My 1st time there I get a room that had TV issues which was fixed right away. Also there was no shower gel which I was told would be in next week, so I had to result to using those little bar soaps. Breakfast was out of Orange Juice, then they ran out of Cranberry juice.. not enough supply on hand. A new trainee didn’t know what time check out was without asking a senior member.. This is something you should know off the top of your head if you know nothing else.. Check in at 3 Check out at 11 or 12 depending on hotel..

The staff were welcoming and the place was very clean. Nice walk in showers and loved how the tv welcomed as I turned it on with my name, very nice touch.

The beds were kind of firm and I guessing you are also able to hear when other people take showers above you or beside you which is weird being that my room has a large gap between another room and right beside the linen closet. As I was laying in bed at night I was a bit creeped because I kept hearing water trickling noises.

The customer service was very nice and professional over the course of our stay. Whenever I had a question or needed anything they quickly were there to help. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was served and the kids were up early every morning to head downstairs.

The only thing I wish the room had was a microwave. We had eaten out one night in which everyone had to go plates, only to realize we couldn't warm it up later that night.

Regarding Breakfast: Beverage options and sausage was good. Bedding was comfortable, spaciousness of rooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff were very accommodating and competent.

Pancakes weren't good and having an option of turkey sausage would be a great option for breakfast. The property didn't come up in our search prior to arriving in the city, so we booked from across the street, but didn't realize it was a Hilton property, and was weary from traveling so used booking.com which we hadn't paid, so it would've been nice if the Manager, I believe checked us in, i.e. front desk, would've asked if we were Hilton Honor members, then allowed us to rebook in order to earn points for our stay.

Clean and comfortable. Easy access for an early flight out from JAX the following morning. Did not have a chance to rate the breakfast as service started at six am and my flight departed at 6:25. It would have been nice to have a grab and go breakfast available for guests departing too early for your breakfast service.

Not able to have breakfast due to early flight departure. My reason for selecting the hotel was so I could be nearby for this early flight. I would suggest some provision be made for guests needing to leave before your full breakfast is served.

Super nice, modern rooms. Very clean and comfy, plenty of pillows, which is awesome for us foot pillow people. The bathroom was nicer than my home bathroom. The flatscreen tv says your name on it when you first get in which is a nice touch. This one had a nice market inside for beer, soda, coffee and snacks. Overall I felt it was so clean I could go barefoot in my room, and in the shower, and I am a huge germaphobe.

Nothing bad to say- I hope I can afford to start staying at a Tru all the time!

GREAT breakfast choices! Not your usual hotel breakfast. It was hot, fresh and plenty of choices for us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

We asked for first floor but got the third floor instead, but we were next to the elevator. No biggie there. Be careful with the shower stall. Very slippery, but great choices of shampoos/soaps.

TRU - Jacksonville @ the airport was a wonderful place to stay. It is close to access to the highway to travel to Jacksonville proper. The rooms were spacious and spotless.

There were no drawers in which to place clothing for an overnight stay. Snacks, foods, and toiletries were expensive, but they were available anytime, day or night.

This location has very convenient access to restaurants, airport and immediate access to I-95. More quiet than most hotel rooms. Clean inside and out, staff visibly cleaning regularly and thoroughly. Really like the water bottle re-fill fountain and the truly room darkening shades are much better than curtains. Priced well.

Rooms are small, however that is the intentional design of Tru hotels. Breakfast selection is okay but is a little limited compared to some other hotels.

It was clean and we were greeted warmly when we walked in. Staff was above ordinary. Truly had a wonderful time. The pool was refreshing after a hot day at the beach. Breakfast was hot and beautifully displayed.

The only time we had to request something was the toiletries i the bathroom were not filled for showering. That was a bit of inconvenience. We were given a travel package of toiletries for the rest of our stay. Satisfactory.
