The location is perfect, not only because you’re on the beach but you are right off the highway and it’s easy to get places. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The room was a great size, bed was super comfortable, and smelled good. The balcony was a huge plus, I loved sitting out looking at the ocean.

The hallway had a rancid fish smell the whole week, but thankfully not our room. The restaurant is great, but no gluten free alternatives. Only thing I could eat at the hotel due to my gluten allergies was breakfast.

I had the most amazing stay at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront, which is why I am leaving this review, since I normally wouldn’t go out of my way to do so, but this property and its staff deserve all of the recognition! I booked this room for one night, two nights beforehand, as a last minute Valentines/1 year Anniversary surprise for my long-distance boyfriend. I am local, and we rarely see eachother and for this occasion I wanted to go big, and although we already had another stay for Valentines night, I wanted to do something nice for the night after. I normally wouldn’t spend as much as I did on the room, but I booked a King with a balcony, and we wanted to keep the vacation vibe going since he is from Missouri. I showed up, and got every penny worth immediately, and it only continued. When I checked in a lovely Shawndy checked me in and informed me that my room was upgraded to an ocean front King Suite, and also gave us complimentary to order breakfast cards. As well as a complimentary drink card. She was absolutely so kind, and informative as well. I felt like we were royalty immediately, especially when we saw the room. It was huge and the balcony basically wrapped around with multiple entrances. I was so excited, and only wished we stayed more than one night. (I will definitely want to come back!) the amazing experience continues when I go to the on site restaurant, on the ocean, and had a few really good drinks, and a fantastic meal (best scallops ever, and the burger was great!) the server was super friendly and made it all feel so special, he also happened to be a manager, his name is Martin. Martin and the restaurant staff went further to make our night special (after talking about the occasion) by upon my request sending champagne and a chocolate cake to our room (I intended to pay but they sent it up complimentary, and it made my heart so full!). Martin brought it up and even wrote a handwritten card saying Happy Anniversary!

The staff were great! Cool professional vibes! Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows, Starbucks and the small concession.

One female receptionist that was snarky. The fact that I ordered from the restaurant a double hamburger and they charged me for 2 meals? Bc they didn’t have an extra patty button? That was a $36 dollar burger. You had no real luggage carts it was the ones from the airport, so we couldn’t but our coolers and backpacks. Rooms were extremely small and super small fridge and no microwave. I’ve been to many hotels to know that’s just basic things to have in a room.

Front desk personnel were fun, easy to talk to, and gave good recommendations on local places to go to. Facilities were generally clean. Hotel shuttle was really convenient in that you can schedule rides within a file mile radius into town and back to hotel

Toilet had trouble flushing, had to open the back to pull the plunger up a few times to get it to flush all the way

Everything. Beach party was a great success

No wash cloths. Asked the maid service 3 times to leave wash cloths and they kept saying there were none. Fire alarm went off at 530 in the morning and had to call front desk and was told false alarm. Lack of communication

Nice hotel, amazing pool!!

Parking across the street, no microwave but they did bring one up, fridge was leaking and has apparently been leaking for a while, pool closes early, in room 555 you can’t hardly open and close the door without putting your entire body weight into opening it and closing it..

Room location except when band was to play. Food options and availability. Employee kindness and attention. Checking via text about room needs.

Room too loud when band set up. I was fortunate that weather stopped band after 1 hour. I wanted quiet room for peaceful stay not room by band.

The desk staff was very attentive and professional. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable.

When we arrived at the restaurant, there was no body at the receiving desk to seat us. We had to go to the front desk to asked for help. We then got help immediately. The food and the service was very good.

Excellent location, staff and restaurant. Nice room with comfortable beds. Enjoyed the live band, beach and pool. Everything that I ordered to eat and drink at the restaurant was delicious and top notch. Pleasant staff everywhere.

We reserved a double queen room for three people with “breakfast included in the rate” only to be told at check in that the breakfast was for two people - not ok and especially when I paid $356/night for three people. However after some discussion, the manager approved breakfast for the third person. It felt uncomfortable to unsafe to be in the huge parking lot across the four lane road after dark without security and pay an additional $16 per day. Valet parking is available for the rich and famous lol for $24 per day and they park in the spaces next to the hotel.

The Crowne Plaza was a great stay. The property is beautiful and is sitting on the ocean. The food and drinks are all right there, and you really don't have to leave for a short stay. Valet parking was faster than you could do it yourself.
